Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: A few years / Veteran Location/Timezone: Pacific Standard Time Schedule: 3-5pm PST (Sessions may be longer when we figure things out) Roles sought: DM / Player
We have 4 games that will be going on. Each week, we will rotate to a different DM. We are looking for one more person to fill out the parties. You will not have to DM a game, but you should be prepared to do so in case one of the games has to end. This will be done on discord and most of us will not be using D&DBeyond for our games. You will need to be flexible with the kind of game you want to play as each game is different. These are some short descriptions for each of the games that we will be doing.
- You wake up in a dark elevator with a couple other people. You are unsure how you got here, or how you will escape, but it seems like moments ago you were simply living your normal life. Suddenly the ceiling opens and light fills the room. You rise through the opening and find yourself in a run down village of sorrow, with ash drifting down from the sky. You are in Zanthem's keep, and you must climb the floors to escape. (Game with a fair amount of homebrew)
- Vanilla 5e experience with fantasy elements. Players will role-play as roommates in a mysterious town that will grow and change with their decisions.
- The world is a fantasy/steampunk type world. where a section of a continent (marchek) has been sealed of by the gods years ago. the two nations inhabiting it are at war. Magic is preformed by imbuing yourself with with a sprite (small fairy like things), however only few are gifted with the ability to talk to and control the sprites. Due to the magic nature of the sprites they are very important to the people in Marchek and are universally worshiped by both nations. the sacred pond for them is located in between each nation for that reason. (Homebrew game)
- You are a team tasked with solving the mystery of an unexplored area, where monsters are constantly pouring out and attacking the nearby nations. Explore the area and solve this problem once and for all. Vanilla D&D.
To apply, please state how long you've been playing D&D and how long you've DMed for. Tell us your strengths and weaknesses as a player and other things you want to share about yourself. Finally, leave your Discord tag or private message me it, and I'll talk to you if we're interested in having you. Session zero for character creation, DM order etc. will be on the 25th of May at the scheduled time.
Zanthem Keep DM might change his campaign to a different setting. It will still be D&D but it may be more of a "Complete missions in the world" campaign with also a main story line about the characters trying to get back to the world they were originally from before they were transported to this new, wonderful place.
I'm an experienced DM, I've run multiple campaigns to completion. I'm at GMT-4 East coast US time. Have ya'll picked a day of the week and time of day yet?
I'm always down to run a one shot for the DM to take a break, and I have a homebrew adventure I've been working on that could be fun to run if someone finishes their campaign. Whenever possible I prefer to meet a group before committing to a long-term campaign, but I'm definitely interested in talking more if you still have the open seat.

I'm intrigued by the rotating DMs setup.
