I'm a new player with some information on the game (races, classes, dice, checking stats or something (AC, Wisdom, etc)), and a understanding that a lot of things depends on the Dungeon Master/Campaign. Part of my limited knowledge comes from watching/listening to Critical Role on YouTube, though I know not every game is going to be that experience. I'm looking to join a newbie friendly game online, since I cannot participate in person these days. I'd prefer to play a game with voice chat as that sounds more fun than typing things out (and I'm a slow typer lol).
So what's the complicated situation mentioned in the title? My hours available. I work night shifts Thursday-Monday (9:00PM-5:30AM), and sleep until 2:00 in the afternoon. My Time zone is -07:00 (Western Standard Time, USA). My "weekends" are then Tuesday and Wednesday, and thus in order to maintain my sleep schedule, on those days I'm awake/available from 2:00PM-6:00AM. While I technically could/can get up earlier on one of my days off to participate in a game, I don't want to risk throwing my sleep schedule out of whack (even for one day, my body is weird). Perhaps the timeframe might not be as big of an issue as I think it is, but I figured it plus the days off make finding a game/group difficult.
So that's my situation, looking for a new player friendly group to play with on Tuesdays/Wednesdays sometime between 2:00PM-6:00AM (6 being my cut-off time). Hopefully I can find a group that's can meet my availability, as I'm really excited about the idea of playing D&D for the first time!
