I spent months working with someone on Discord to help me create a homebrew campaign where the role of Dungeon Master would be split between the two of us. However, after some mild soul-searching, I realized I was doing it for the wrong reasons; I wanted to create a world I could play in, not simply oversee. Coupled with the fact that my Co-Dungen Master is so swamped with real-life and can only play text-based campaigns (which I don't want to do), and I myself am a mediocre DM, I've decided to step down and become a player and have someone else take over as DM.
Understand that, although I created the world and have a few key plot moments thought up, I promise not to Metagame; I will live and die by the rule of "I know it, but my character doesn't." Having that said, I worked hard on creating the world, and I would appreciate it if the new DM kept as much of what I already created as possible, if only because a few players have written their backstory with the established lore in mind. Ultimately, however, once I pass on the mantle of DM, it'll be your world, not mine; as long as you don't blindside me with changes, everything should be okay. Finally, although he's not DMing anymore either, my previous co-DM has offered to help the new DM write, balance, and make statblocks for any more homebrew creations.
My Discord handle is RedWizzrobe#2884. If you're interested in DMing, you can reach me there for more information and ask me any questions I may have missed. Thank you in advance to whoever responds.

Discord says your Discord name doesn't exist.
Okay, that's weird. What's your Discord name? Maybe I can contact you instead of the other way around.
