Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online. We use Discord for VC and Roll20 for the game. Experience: This is the 4th Campaign I'm running Location/Timezone: America, EST. Schedule: Weekly, Fridays at 6 or 7pm est. Roles sought: 2 Players (I have 3 already) Must be 21 yo or older (this is a group of adults and I'd like to keep it that way) Game style: This is a homebrew world I created, I have a lot of lore for you to read through before you make your character. It's open world, sandbox style, which means the players can go and do whatever they want, though I will throw plot hooks at you and there is an overarching story that will happen, but I like to have the players participate in telling that story. I consider myself a world builder more than a story teller when it comes to DMing. The story is told by everyone collectively, and whatever backstory you write will probably have an impact on the story at some point as well, which is why I expect at least 5 paragraphs of backstory from each of my players.
If you're interested in joining, you can fill out the following template (if you don't wish to do so publicly you can direct message it to me) and if I like what I see then I will message you directly with my discord name so that we can schedule a vc interview.

Name: Yuke Age: 20 Pronouns: He/Him Timezone: GMT+2 Experience with roleplaying/D&D: 2 years of long dnd campaigns and other one-shots What race/class would you be interested in playing?: Anything i love creating from zero after learning about the world What's your favorite thing about DnD?: Its the fact that you can create your own story and build your character on the journey of developing his personality. Doing the bunch of cools stuffs and creating ideas is the best for me. its also nice to see what other people came up with and how our characters interact. What's your least favorite thing about DnD?: it's the fact that I can't play more of it. There is always more ideas to do and puzzle to solve. Anything else you'd like to share?: I am an consistent player, and open to others ideas. I know game is for 21+ but 20 is not that off. i hope that i am fitting for the requirement and can't wait to get to know each other to have fun.
Name: Lois Age: 29 Pronouns: she/her Timezone: US, MST (Idaho) Experience with roleplaying/D&D: ~1.5 years playing long-term campaigns with two different groups. Since then, ~1 year creating plots and attempting to teach new players as de facto DM. What race/class would you be interested in playing?: Pretty much anything! I'm a little nervous about spellcasters because I have zero experience playing one, but otherwise it's all good by me. What's your favorite thing about DnD?: The roleplaying. The camaraderie in the group. All of the unexpected things that can happen. Character development! Exploring places, being there... What's your least favorite thing about DnD? The part where you move to a different state and suddenly can't play anymore because whoops it's impossible to find a group if you don't know anyone Anything else you'd like to share?: Just that I am really excited/hopeful to find some new people to play with! I'm creative and focused, and I love character-focused... anything, so the way you approach being the DM sounds really fun and intriguing.
Name: Gorbey Age: 28 Pronouns: He/Him Timezone: MST Experience with roleplaying/D&D: Moderate, about 4-5ish years of one-shots and longer term campaigns, some 3.5E experience, mostly 5E. Mostly Homebrew. Some experience with Roll 20. What race/class would you be interested in playing?: Potentially a Kenku or Tiefling but open to anything! I Love to dive into lore and build characters within the world presented to me. What's your favorite thing about DnD?: I Love the mutual storytelling that comes with DnD; the camaraderie that comes out of a group that clicks and is having a good time can be wonderful. I'm a writer and love to work together to create an experience and a story that everyone can get laughs and deeper feels out of. I'm definitely story/RP-driven but still a fan of combat too! What's your least favorite thing about DnD?: When folks lose sight of the game and either take things too seriously or personally. Doesn't happen too often I've found, but when it does It can be uncomfortable and it definitely needs to be communicated with as friends. Anything else you'd like to share?: I had stopped playing DnD for about seven months because of some big life changes and would love to find a solid "home-group" that I can get back into consistently playing DnD with to get my creative muse flowing again. Thanks for the opportunity!
Name: Nocke Age: 48 Pronouns: He/Him Timezone: Atlantic (GMT -4) Experience with roleplaying/D&D: Past PnP and some recent Discord/Foundry What race/class would you be interested in playing?: a Half Elf Bard (College of Spirits)who is seeking to discover if Half-Elves' souls go to Arvendor to be reincarnated like Elves. He unwittingly becomes beholden to a Solar (known stewards of Corellon) and thus multiclasses in Celestial Warlock for a couple levels. The character would be a healer/buffer type.
What's your favorite thing about DnD?: The social interaction and collabrative storytelling. What's your least favorite thing about DnD? Players who need the spotlight and interrupt their teammates actions by trying to take over the situation with their own ability checks. Anything else you'd like to share?: I do not have work or family commitments that would prevent me from attending the weekly sessions.
Experience with Roleplaying/DnD: I have been playing DnD for over 15 years, I've ran two 5E campaigns while also participating in other TTRPGs like Mage, Vampire, Pokemon United, Warhammer, and Pathfinder. so far all of my 5E games have been online through either Roll20 or Foundry having played on Streamed campaigns.
What Race/Class would you be interested in playing: Usually I'm the wild card of the group, usually picking up roles that are needed to help balance the group. Regardless of what character I play, I will always enjoy creating something unique and themed to offer the group to help bring entertainment for all those participating. In the past i've played a variety of races and roles so my choices will more than likely be reflected with what the group already has, and what the story of the campaign is set as.
What's your favorite thing about DnD?: The thing I enjoy about DnD is the customization it offers. Regardless of edition, there are so many tools you can use to add flair to the character you are trying to portrait. wither or not its to stick to a certain type of spells because of how the character is brought up or taught. To picking up feats because of what has happened to them during the story or something that affected them in the past. The same thing applies for the Storyteller since they are able to create anything they want to help tell the story they are wanting to deliver to their audience.
What's your Least Favorite thing about DnD?: Hard to say, only things that have brought unpleasantness to the games I've ran or played in came from other actual people. Either having the DM whose struggling to tell his story and ends up giving up from lack of confidence or patience. Or those certain type of players who want to be the know-it-all rules lawyer who wants to be the center of attention for all the wrong reasons. People play DnD because its fun, and it brings people of all walks of life together.
Anything Else you'd like to share?: I hope you enjoyed reading my application, if you have any questions you wish to ask, you can reach me on discord at AngelOnizuka#2341. I typically work 3rd shift starting at 11 pm est so if the game starts at 7 and lasts longer than 4 hours, I run the risk of having to dip early unless I flat out just shift my schedule to avoid such a conflict. I like to think I bring good vibes to any group I play with and hope to hear from you as soon as possible ^^
Timezone: GST +10 (Brisbane, Australia) if you're planning on running a campaign Friday night, it will be our Saturday morning which will be perfectly fine for us :)
Experience with roleplaying/D&D: I have 4 years exp as a DM, as well as 2 years exp as a player in another friends campaign. Katelyn was a player in both campaigns, 6 years exp.
What race/class would you be interested in playing?: I would be interested in being a Lizard-folk / dragonborn cleric of the war domain. Or a half elf fighter rouge.
Katelyn is very open to play any thing, she likes to base a character of the campaign setting and pick a role that suits well with the other players.
What's your favourite thing about DnD?: We both love the role play and adventure, becoming some else to escape reality for a few hours, be the heroes :)
What's your least favourite thing about DnD? Not playing DnD
Anything else you'd like to share?: Katelyn and I are married and both very open to meeting new players and playing online DnD with them.

Experience with roleplaying/D&D: I have been playing since early/mid 90's, mostly 3.5 and Pathfinder. No 5e experience.
What race/class would you be interested in playing?: anything to help round out a party.
What's your favorite thing about DnD?: comradary, team-building
What's your least favorite thing about DnD? How much they have simplified the game for 5e seems to have reduced character customization quite a bit. Rules lawyering can ruin the experience.
Anything else you'd like to share?: I do not have any work or personal obligations that would interfere with availability. I have been looking to join a DnD group for awhile, and would be excited for the opportunity to play. Hope to hear from you.
so, i would like to say that i am interested and will answer your questions as directly as possible. im not good with backgrounds, however

What's your favorite thing about DnD?: Creating Characters, Monster, and Throwing small Races like a Gnome Clerics while yelling out "HOLY HAND GRENADE!" What's your least favorite thing about DnD? Child Killing. Anything else you'd like to share?: God I would Kill for a BLT Right about Now. CannibalJack#9296
Name: Seth (I go by Senpai on discord) Age: 23 Pronouns: He/Them Timezone: EST Experience with roleplaying/D&D: Only ever been in 1 campaign. What race/class would you be interested in playing?: Any class really but for races I think I would try out a fairy or dark elf. What's your favorite thing about DnD?: How different the campaign can be. Home-brew really fascinates me. What's your least favorite thing about DnD? How I got one shot by a magic broom... like dang. Anything else you'd like to share?: I mean I absolutely got rekt by that broom. I'm also interested in what magnificent world you created and I'd love to hear the lore! (my discord is SenpaiSlytherin#8644)
Name:dalton discord is senpaigryffindor#5946 Age:23 Pronouns:he/him Timezone:est Experience with roleplaying/D&D:I’m playing a artifacter fairy that subclasses in cleric and have been pretty good at battles and roleplay What race/class would you be interested in playing?:loxdon barbarian What's your favorite thing about DnD?:roleplay and mestary What's your least favorite thing about DnD? Nothing really Anything else you'd like to share?:im chill out person but have a long fuse on a big ass bomb
Name: Mathew Age: 52, though often the least mature in any given group. Pronouns: He/Him Timezone: Pacific Standard
Experience with roleplaying/D&D: I have 3+ years playing 5e and many more playing other RPGs, such as most of the original TSR RPGs, including the original D&D and AD&D back in the 80's. I have also played Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, and Star Wars FFG RPG.
What race/class would you be interested in playing?: I have a number of character ideas and have a gang of D&D Beyond characters waiting to be given a life. I typically play support characters that can get other party members out of difficult situations. I am not an optimizer when building my characters, I am most interested in utilizing fun and creative skill sets that fit the theme and background of the character. I generally play friendly, good aligned characters. In real life I am a rule follower and can't shake that to play evil characters. I love creating characters that I hope most find interesting, with well thought out backgrounds, character appearance, and roles/abilities that would support the group. I am willing to fill most roles in a diverse party and I am always interested in joining other players with a linked backstory. And that five paragraph minimum for a backstory...piece o' cake.
What's your favorite thing about DnD?: Creating a character that I can live out the story that the DM, fellow party members, and myself fabricate, a character that cares about the other party members and will support the story's progression.
What's your least favorite thing about DnD?: For myself, there is one thing that often lessens the fun/creative part of role playing games, the quest for min/max and optimized characters. I most appreciate those players who utilize creative role playing to solve difficult challenges rather than relying on built in bonuses.
Anything else you'd like to share?: I am very dependable when it comes to showing up every session, on time ready to play. I have access to an excellent headset mic, webcam, D&D Beyond Master subscription, free version of Roll20 account, and a Fantasy Grounds account. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Take it easy!
Name: Jen Age: 30 Pronouns: she/her Timezone: EST Experience with roleplaying/D&D: Just under one year, a couple of one shots, and one campaign. What race/class would you be interested in playing?: I don't really have a preference of race, but I'd probably lean towards a spellcasting class or a fighting class with spellcasting abilities. What's your favorite thing about DnD?: The creativity it inspires, and how it brings people together. What's your least favorite thing about DnD? How difficult it can be to find a group to play with, locally and/or online. Anything else you'd like to share?: I know this post has been up for a while and has a lot of responses, so even if I'm not chosen I'm hoping maybe someone else might want to connect.
Name: Chris Age: 45 Pronouns: He Timezone: Arizona, so what ever that is these days....we dont do daylight savings Experience with roleplaying/D&D: Newer player, 2 months in a local adventure league and DM for a family game What race/class would you be interested in playing?: Usually go for the fighter type, but would like to go for a warlock, maybe half elf What's your favorite thing about DnD?: Trying to figure things out, story, puzzles What's your least favorite thing about DnD? Right now the lack of groups to play in, Anything else you'd like to share?: New to online play, so may need some help to get up and running
Name: Tyler (ughitsTyler) Age: 24 Pronouns: He/him Timezone: New Zealand GMT+12 (I checked my timezone, I can play!) Experience with roleplaying/D&D: I have played DND/TTRPGs/RPing for 6 years now & been a DM for the past 2 for my own 5e games. I love roleplaying and feel its a big part of selling characters in the game! What race/class would you be interested in playing?: I'm a sucker for an edgy boy so Warlocks are a first pick but I do love playing Bards and Barbarians. I like the bulky raves so goliaths, minotaurs, half-orcs so I would likely play one of them. What's your favorite thing about DnD?: Getting some random people together and creating an experience and a story!! Building characters and developing them into badasses too What's your least favorite thing about DnD? There can be some drag in games where people don't take initiative but mainly SCHEDULING Anything else you'd like to share?: I do take my RPing and how I play seriously (obviously can take a joke though) but if there's no seriousness at all I find it just becomes goofs and I lose interest. I'm a sucker for drama :)

What's your least favorite thing about DnD? Meta gaming at its finest. Basically when other players don’t let others do what they feel like their character would do. (as long as they aren’t evil and randomly killing people etc.) Anything else you'd like to share?: I really just like playing DND. I love the game and have a passion for people, playing, and helping make a memorable game.
Not sure if your still looking seeing the amount of responses haha but figured i would throw my hat in as well
Name: Wiley Age: 26 Pronouns: He/Him Timezone: CST Experience with roleplaying/D&D: 4 Years DMing 7 years all together. What race/class would you be interested in playing?: I have a few different ones i have in rotation so i can help balance a party however i usually play either a front line (so like cleric + something else with the race being warforged) or a rogue of some kind (with the race being either kalashtar or a type of elf) What's your favorite thing about DnD?: My favorite thing is investigating the world and events in it as well as rping with the other players or people we encounter. What's your least favorite thing about DnD? From what i have encountered i am not a huge fan of time sensitive puzzles that could be delayed or stuck on because the party doesnt mesh well with everyone's ideas of how to proceed Anything else you'd like to share?: Look forward to hearing from you and even if this spot isn't available if you have spots in the future would love to have an invite.

Name: Mathew
Age: 52, though often the least mature in any given group.
Pronouns: He/Him
Timezone: Pacific Standard

Experience with roleplaying/D&D: Just under one year, a couple of one shots, and one campaign.

Name: Tyler (ughitsTyler)
Age: 24
Pronouns: He/him
Timezone: New Zealand GMT+12 (I checked my timezone, I can play!)
Experience with roleplaying/D&D: I have played DND/TTRPGs/RPing for 6 years now & been a DM for the past 2 for my own 5e games.
Building characters and developing them into badasses too
What's your least favorite thing about DnD? There can be some drag in games where people don't take initiative but mainly SCHEDULING
Anything else you'd like to share?: I do take my RPing and how I play seriously (obviously can take a joke though) but if there's no seriousness at all I find it just becomes goofs and I lose interest. I'm a sucker for drama :)
My names Tyler, I go by UghitsTyler everywhere online! I am 24 from New Zealand! I use he/him pronouns
I have been playing DND for 6 years (mainly 5e) and have started DMing the last 2 years! I am passionate about DND and it brings me so much joy to play and create with people!

What race/class would you be interested in playing?: satyr/bard
What's your favorite thing about DnD?: I love the family aspect of dnd and the story the characters create. it makes the emotions more real when things happen.
What's your least favorite thing about DnD? Meta gaming at its finest. Basically when other players don’t let others do what they feel like their character would do. (as long as they aren’t evil and randomly killing people etc.)
Anything else you'd like to share?: I really just like playing DND. I love the game and have a passion for people, playing, and helping make a memorable game.
Not sure if your still looking seeing the amount of responses haha but figured i would throw my hat in as well
Name: Wiley
Age: 26
Pronouns: He/Him
Timezone: CST
Experience with roleplaying/D&D: 4 Years DMing 7 years all together.
What race/class would you be interested in playing?: I have a few different ones i have in rotation so i can help balance a party however i usually play either a front line (so like cleric + something else with the race being warforged) or a rogue of some kind (with the race being either kalashtar or a type of elf)
What's your favorite thing about DnD?: My favorite thing is investigating the world and events in it as well as rping with the other players or people we encounter.
What's your least favorite thing about DnD? From what i have encountered i am not a huge fan of time sensitive puzzles that could be delayed or stuck on because the party doesnt mesh well with everyone's ideas of how to proceed
Anything else you'd like to share?: Look forward to hearing from you and even if this spot isn't available if you have spots in the future would love to have an invite.
