Yawning Portal/Acquisitions Inc. Crossover

Looking for some players interested in a revolving door kind of campaign. No rush on progression. The premise is Yawning Portal/Acquisitions Inc. style of gameplay where you (the group) inherit a tavern after some shenanigans and go on courageous murder hobo adventures in the Forgotten Realms at your own whims with gold and magical items to suit your fancy. 

This is strictly a FORUMS ONLY game. I don't have the bandwidth to run this in real life (I have other campaigns going on). 

Looking for 3 -5 players starting at level 3. ROLL FOR STATS IN THE FORUM ONCE SELECTED. One magical item for the group. You'll start at the Yawning Portal and the chaos will ensure from there. Let the murder hobo shenanigans begin!

Choose races/options that are native to the Forgotten Realms. Weird stuff or outlandish will need to be run by me first. 

I'm a DM with over 20 years of experience behind the screen. I don't do forums often and sometimes it moves slow. Deal with it. If you don't like it, you don't have to participate. Expect some "lag" in gameplay if it comes to that. It's just part of forum playing.

Forgotten Realms Setting

I'm new to the idea of Forums only roleplaying. How does that work exactly? (im sure other relative newbies might also benefit from some insight into how it works compared to in-person/online-call campaigns).
