Though the song was sung, it fell on deaf ears. The people see no gifts from the gods, no glorious civilizations. Only hearsay from a songstress, many do not believe such a thing ever existed. Some even question if it is true. But, very few still search for the echoes of the lost era.
Scholars seeking lost knowledge, explorers seeking to discover ancient artifacts, mercenaries seeking their fortune, impoverished noble's seeking to restore glory to their family name all tread the path of a seeker for one reason or another.
