Brand new player looking for a cool LGBT friendly DM to take me under their wing!

Hi! I've never played D&D but I love fantasy video games and movies so I decided to check out some podcasts. Now I feel like it's finally time for me to get started! Only problem is that I have zero D&D-playing friends IRL, so to the internet I go.

I'm 29, male, gay, and generally pretty laid back and have a good sense of humor. I filled out this thing I found, let me know if you have a campaign I could join! I promise I'm a fast learner!

Group preferred: Online (can do Discord, Roll20, whatever)
Experience: Brand new

Location/Timezone: Eastern US (GMT -4)
Availability: In the summer my schedule is very flexible and I can play almost any time. In the fall I'll be a lot more busy. Tuesday or Thursday after 6:00 or weekends would be ideal.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'm looking for a mix of roleplay and combat. And honestly, I'd love to play a wotc module instead of something with a lot of homebrew. I'm still brand new and would loe to learn the basics!

Edit: Forgot to mention 2 things: I'm only interested in playing with adults (18+) and I'm definitely not interested in any paid games.
