Hey all.
I want to try my hand at DMing, and want to teach new players the basics at the same time (and keep learning myself!) I have about ~30 hours of DND under my belt as a player. My main goal is for everyone to have fun, laugh, make memories - and hopefully life long friends 🖤 I have a group like this that I play with weekly, and it is so so special 🥹
I’m thinking of a shorter, stranger things based campaign. Starting at level five. I will include RP, combat, puzzles and quests.
A short backstory for your character will be needed.

im a 26 year old Canadian gal recently living in the US. I’m a good mix of introvert/extrovert and am the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, but I love anything horror, evil and twisted! I love writing so you can expect this campaign to be extremely detailed, with a dense storyline, and lots of room for adventure.
im looking for people 18+. There will be no sexual themes. All inclusive. LGBTQ+ friendly. I’d love to join a campaign. I’ve tried a couple so far that never even got started. I don’t have game experience but I’m really motivated to learn how to play. It’s the point system that’s throwing me off. Combined with the extra small details of a players skills.

Oh my, yes i am free most of the week, more difficult on Weekends but not impossible (a few groups like i said) And 3-4 hours is my normal scedule so no worries there

no D&D experience really, i played a little when i was 7-8 but didnt keep with it
watched all 4 seasons and dustin is my favorite character
i can bring an open mind and a willingness to learn.
im an open mind and down for anything
i have the time mostly weekends after 330pm pst. i love roleplaying and i get into the character ive created. even when not rping i will think about ways to add more depth, backstory and personality to the character.

No dnd experience (character created only), but I grew up playing Magic, Pokémon, and all sorts of video games (destiny being my all-time fav)
I have watched ST things it’s release in 2016. It is terribly difficult to pick a favorite because they all have their *thing*. Dustin has been my favorite since day one with Joyce and Hopper close behind. I relate to Joyce and her fierce, unwavering loyalty and fearlessness when it comes to those she loves. Max and Vecna are also favs, Vecna simply because there has never been a better villain story arc imo.
I’m hoping I can bring some magic to a group/campaign. Not only because my character is a High Elf, but I’m very imaginative and thorough.
I don’t think I’d be uncomfy with anything, but I would politely say something if I was.
I own my own business so I’m available for the campaigns and would be happy to keep this as a weekly standing appointment and work around it 🫶🏻
