Dark times have come to Keoland. While the Kingdom fights threats from the south, the Rushmoors quietly swallow everything around it. One noble house wants to reestablish a defensive border in the north, and asks you aid his cause – will you fight against the encroaching darkness, or will the Whispered One make his return?
This campaign takes place in the campaign setting of Greyhawk, the first and broadest campaign setting in Dungeons and Dragons. We are running a weekly campaign centered around the Kingdom of Keoland, an ancient land in turmoil. If you are unfamiliar with this area, It is just south of The Rushmoors (where the destroyed kingdom of Vecna once existed), and just north of Saltmarsh (from the recent WotC adventure series). All of our adventures will tie together, but all can also be played individually (so players can drop in and out).
You can make your character on D&D Beyond or using the Roll20 Charactermancer (which is embedded). We have a high number of scripts and macros to speed up play, but our game is an introductory game if necessary - we will help you along if needed. Our core value is fun, so we do what we can to ensure everyone has it. If you have questions, feel free to join our discord - https://discord.gg/pcznc29wNu
Every week we run a new episode of the adventure. Each new episode is loosely tied to the previous episodes, but is written in a way where you can miss multiple gaming sessions and not feel left out. We are new player friendly, and and I was once a WotC rep that taught how to play D&D, we are happy to teach. Currently we have two active groups - Tuesdays 8pm EST, and Thursdays 7:15pm EST. We are looking to make an additional weekend or late night group for the non-EST players. You can see upcoming gaming sessions by clicking on my StartPlaying.Games profile: https://startplaying.games/gm/jeremyjordan
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (Roll20 / discord for voice) Experience: New Players Welcome Location/Timezone: EST/EDT Schedule: 2 mixed groups currently, Tuesday 8pm EST and Thursday 7:15pm EST Roles sought: Any number of players. Looking to add another group for the non-East Coasters Game style: Fun. Very good combat, Roleplay when players are willing to roleplay back, some minor puzzles. Lots of laughter.
Information about the campaign can be found on our discord, but I would be happy to answer any questions! If you are concerned about which episode to sign up for, you do not have to play them in any order. Generally speaking, the "Part of a series" episodes will make more sense if they are played in that order, but we're pretty good at changing the story on the fly.
Current Available Episodes: “A Spark of Light” Dark times have come to the lands of northern Keoland. While the Kingdom fights threats from the south, the Rushmoors quietly swallow everything around it. Is it a minor nuisance, or the start of something much worse?. Part one of the "More than Beauty" series.
"Set in Stone, Set in Blood" The remains of an ancient Elven tablet have been recovered by the Wymare Merchant House of the Good Hills. They believe it is a key to a great treasure, and are seeking those willing to decode its mysteries and receive a split of what is recovered. This adventure is new player friendly. Part two of the "More than Beauty" series.

An adventure set in southern Keoland in the Greyhawk campaign world, for players levels 2 and 3. Part one of the "Dark Woods" series.
“Dark Secrets in Dark Places” After receiving a vision, a noble hires you to find the abandoned castle that holds his inheritance. I will be running my adventure "A Spark of Light", which is intended for 1st level characters. The price is $5 per player, which goes to the EJI.
Our new adventure "The Invisible Horde" is debuting next Tuesday. We are also running three previous adventures next week.

Even though we are a full campaign running 4-5 tables per week, I'm going to keep updating this in case we have time to expand it. Here's next week's adventure:
A Royal CelebrationKing Kimbertos Scotti's birthday fast approaches, and all are invited to Niole Dra to celebrate His Peerless Majesty! After your recent challenges, you can use some merriment! But is the Kingdom of Keoland content enough to celebrate its King, or will some attempt to cause trouble? An adventure for 3rd through 5th level characters in the Kingdom of Keoland in the Greyhawk Campaign world, and part one of the 'Into the Frying Pan' story arc.
Next week we are running a one-time "Stranger Things: Hunt for the Thessalhydra" as part of the campaign. It's a special event and I've modified it to fit into our world, and I will be running extra tables for those that wish to try the World of Greyhawk. https://startplaying.games/adventure/62d4e1f245e96bd60b619965
Dark times have come to the Sheldomar Valley. A creature of immense strength has been rampaging through the countryside, and none can find where it hides between its meals. Heroes are needed to track down and destroy this beast before more innocent lives are lost. Do you have what it takes to be a hero, or are stranger things too much for you to handle?
You are invited to experience this adventure with me, DM Jeremy, and share my love of Stranger Things and Dungeons and Dragons. I am an experienced player that had very similar (D&D) experiences to the Stranger Things crew back in the 80's, and I am very happy to relive my past experiences with new players. I also happen to be Reddit famous-ish for a moment, as my theories on Stranger Things went viral, and I was interviewed by a bunch of podcasts, mentioned by some notable ones... here's my thoughts if you want some proof of it. https://www.reddit.com/r/StrangerThings/comments/vq51ka/im_a_dd_expert_with_some_insight_on_season_4s/
New players are always welcome in my games. I spent years working with Wizards of the Coast as a community manager, and teaching new players how to play was one of my responsibilities. I know much of the history of D&D in the early 80's, and I have adapted this adventure to a setting that goes back to that timeframe. This first Stranger Things adventure, Hunt for the Thessalhydra, is a lot of fun, and I hope you join our adventure.
To play this game, you will need: - A computer or laptop with Google Chrome, it is hard to play on a tablet. - An free account with Roll20.net (just create it, no need to do anything else) - A free account with Discord - Microphone and Speaker, in a quieter room. You can use your phone with the Discord app if you prefer, but please, don't play in a room with lots of background noise. - Willingness to have fun. People who don't play D&D don't understand its just a game, and games are meant to be fun.
And last, what is "Greyhawk"? It's the original early 1980's setting for D&D. At the time of Stranger Things (1983-1986), it was the only D&D world that existed to play in. Vecna was a main villain from there, as are all of the creatures featured in the show. You may know about some of the worlds that came after it, such as the Forgotten Realms or Ebberon, but Greyhawk was the first world. So I've decided to blend some knowledge that Mike and Will might have known about when creating their game into my game.
