Looking For A Group With New Character

Hey! I’m looking for a group for my LVL 1 Human Ranger. I’m familiar with DND rules and the such however have never actually played in an actual game so I may need advice/help every now and then.

I suppose I’m looking for a more serious toned adventure/campaign however I’m not one to complain for some good fun too :)

My character is a human man named Ruslan Ernst Schafer who’s heavily based on Ukrainian Cossacks in both his attire and weapon choices. He’s a shy and awkward fellow with a huge heart to do good by others and make the best out of crummy situations.
He can act as a company’s scout, hunter, or tracker as he usually tends to find enjoyment out of exploration and discovery.
