Hi I've never played DnD before but would really love to get into it. Are there any groups that'd be willing to take me in? I'd want an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Thanks!
Hello I am a new player to dnd as well i gained interested in it only recently do to trying it out a little bit with some family members i am ok with anything LGBTQ+ but would like to not talk about politics since I don't truly know much about them.
I've been playing for about a year but am still learning. I'm super LGBTQ+ friendly as I identify amongst that myself. I just joined discord and would love to start a campaign! I've only been a player but am willing to learn how to dm as well.
I would be interested in running a game for new players on Saturdays anytime from 5-9 CST. (Really, 8:50 pm is a hard stop because I have a game I'm a player in at 9 - Saturday night is my D&D night.)
Voice chat (no camera required) over Discord. Character creation and combat would be on DnD Beyond, with maps available on Roll20 (I'm considering upgrading everything to Foundry). I like seeing the maps on Roll20, but don't like the combat system for reasons beyond what anyone just starting out needs to worry about. I can explain it if you really want to know.
I have run Lost Mine of Phandelver and Dragon of Icespire Peak for new and experienced players several times. I also have a homebrew campaign we can try if you're interested.
I run an afterschool D&D club that is recruiting a lot of new players this year, so I'm trying to get better at teaching new people to play. I am 100% LGBTQ+ friendly and am happy to play with anyone as long as they are 18+. Games are intended to be about 60/40 RP/combat, but it's ok if we swing toward more or less fighting.
If you want to start up a game, let me know. We can talk this week and maybe get going next Saturday with a session 0 if everything works out.
I have never played D&D, but I have always wanted too. I am also 100% LGBTQ+. I would love to have somewhere I could play and learn, so I hope this group is the place! I don't know all the ins and outs but I'm getting there! :) All I have currently is a character sheet.

Thanks to everyone! I have found a group but I hope this thread can help you find a group too!
If anyone here would be interested in playing by text over discord I'm hoping to start a campaign in the nearish future.
Should be fun, everyone is welcome.
