It's been over 10000 years since the galaxy was explored. At first slowly and carefully until the day that the Maw network was discovered , and the use of magic was proven as reality not fiction. Corporate and Planetary explorations of the galaxy exploded with governments rising and falling; Corporations that started out small that then grew into massive mega corps before collapsing under the weight of corruption and espionage only for the next government or next mega corp to stand up and and fill the gap. And all through this the Wars: the physical wars , the information wars , the political ones, and of course the occasional war for no other reason than some ones profits needed to rise or fall.

The Last great war was only a few centuries ago over the control of a small yet remarkable Dyson Sphere was discovered. Besides the Maw Network, it has rapidly been on it's way to being the most important area in space. For it's large amount of unexplored areas , just waiting for someone to risk discovering it, or for its commercial and political presence as the 10 strongest factions from the last war vie for an operational edge over the other factions...

The Oculus is a new West Marches server, set on a Dyson Sphere in a small pocket of unclaimed space, allowing it to quickly become a hub for all the galaxies' major factions. Recently, systems have started to fail around the sphere, and tunnels to the interior of the Sphere have opened, occasionally letting a creature lose, or leaking solar radiation into an area. What will happen in this sci-fi cyberpunk mix of D&D? Only you can tell.
