Villages, towns, and cities are well protected, and you are not the hero. Kings and dukes have thousands of capable warriors. Magic is powerful and bendable. A plethora of magic items, but they are expensive or banned in some areas.

A setting where you are much more flexible with your powers, exploration, and witnessing of the world. A dragon will kill you if you rush into action. Guilds, cults, and various organizations are interwoven within politics.

The world is hostile, friendly, safe, horrible, and grim (which can be toned down), depending on what you do and where you go. Most powers (spells, feats, abilities) are gained: through founded scrolls, books, pacts, magic, armaments, mentors, exploration, and experience of adventures.

The game starts with 1player session. You experience your beginnings. And then maybe find a fellowship in the interconnected world with compatible adventurers.

Emphasis on player's compatibility.

The world setting offers an opportunity to explore more complex backgrounds with the possibility for emotional depth.

Anything you want to explore is a possibility on the table.

It's of paramount importance that players feel safe. And that is one of the reasons why the first session takes the spotlight for a single player. Also, a more personal in-depth story can be created and tailored to particular preferences.

A game starts from your created background (completely custom, your own made, or if you have difficulties, guidance and help can be provided).

6)The night of your sibling's death is still haunting you. You wandered for years the streets of Hadan, working at taverns, trying to find your fortune with dice...
7)The games you played with your blood finally had a consequence, an eerie voice has responded...
8)You are a lucky bastard, you found a ring, and now you can fly. It's a pity that you found it near the forbidden city, which has outlawed all personal magic items.
9)The horrors you experienced as a child are unfathomable. You feel deep anger. An opportunity has presented itself to seek out all who wronged you. Rage and hatred consume you...
10) Nothing better than a tankard of ale in the evening with the joyous ambiance of music ringing all around, with the man you love dearly by your side...

Expanding upon character creation.
You decide where and how you want to start your story. You can be a level 1 rogue, a level 2 warlock, or you can be a simple gnome, or human, tiefling, an elf with a special ability, or a unique item that grants you invisibility or flight. It all depends on how you want to start. It depends on what is your background, how you came to be, and how did you learn or got something. What is your character's struggle, motivation, fear, and inspiration? What your character is seeking, or from what is he running? You can pursue the mystic arts, money, politics, revenge, or something else. In this game, you will have to earn your power through your ingenuity and exploration.
