Online Text Only Campaign- Tyranny of Dragons- 5e- Looking for 2 more players!

Hello! I’ve been currently trying to run a ToD campaign for the past three or so months, unfortunately I’ve had a few people ghost and others that are in college so it’s difficult to get sessions scheduled so I’m now trying to look for a few more players so I can have four players total preferably. (I told the college students if they’re ever able to join in on a session they’re more than welcome to but I’m not holding my breath on that, however if that does happen then the party jumps to 7 players total just so anyone is aware.)

A few things about me, I’ve been playing ye ole Dungeons and Dragons for I believe three to four years, and this is my first time DMing a campaign, and it is a wee bit difficult for a new DM but I am trying me best hand at it. I’m fairly lenient as a DM, so as long as it makes sense to me, I’ll allow it. I am trying to run this as a bit of a darkish type campaign, but it’s more so got dark themes going on in it.

We are in the middle of Hoard of the Dragon Queen, not really far in. Everyone is currently level 3, now on chapter 3 of the story, which is about to lead them to the Dragon Hatchery. Basically a little synopsis of HOTDQ is this Cult that’s been raiding towns, stealing from them, basically gathering a “hoard” for unknown reasons. They’re known as Cult of the Dragon, their activities have been more and more active as of late but reasons for that are unknown for the time being.

We use Roll20 for the campaign, and are now about to start playing biweekly on Wednesdays at 6:30pm EST. Depending on the sessions themselves, they can run up to five hours, but I’ve been wanting to try and keep them no longer than 3 to 4 hours, in between that. Next session is October 26th.    Text only campaign. 

I’d really like to try and get people in here that are committed and willing to stick around for the long run. We use discord to communicate and have a channel for our group. If anyone is interested please message me on discord.
