Hi everyone, I'd consider myself a player that is no longer noob, but also no expert.
I'm consistently available on weekday evenings, no children, a very supportive wife, and I have all but the absolutely most recent content available unlocked on DnD Beyond. I CAN also be available on weekends, just not willing to commit to weekends consistently. I have been a player character in a campaign that is winding down after 2 years. We used a combination of Roll20 (Visuals) and Discord (Mic and Meme/GIF, lol). I didn't use my character sheet on Roll20 much, I prefer DnD Beyond and the Beyond 20 extension.
The main things that I am looking for are a DM that is competent, organized, consistent, and committed to having the complete session. I make sure to schedule life as to not interfere with game nights and it would be nice if the DM and my fellow players had the same commitment.
Beyond that, I am looking for 65% fun vs 35% rules as written, they are a guide, but the DM/Group can decide certain things take away more than they give and overrule what is written. It just needs to be consistent.
I have a strong interest in playing some adventures, but I am also open to homebrew content. Pretty flexible.
Please let me know if you have any questions about me and what you have to offer, Please cover the basics in your response, the most important being what Day and Time your session is.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / EITHER Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: Portland, OR, PST Availability: Weekday Evenings after 5:30PM / Some weekends (Any Time) Preferred role: Player Game style: I want to try to transition to embodying my character. Method Acting. Instead of "My character would do this", I want to make an effort to be my character. In a similar manner to Critical Role actors. I want to say what I am doing and have the DM tell me what it's going to take to pull that off. Ideally, I want more fun, battles, and story arch, than saying we followed the rules. We need their structure, but not their shackles.
