Myrael's Chosen is a divine fantasy adventure campaign taking place in a homebrew medieval city, the surrounding lands, and the strange realms beyond.
We currently have a monk, hexblade, and cleric. The campaign deals with themes of faith, corruption, and redemption.
The players have just accepted a quest to find essentially the Holy Grail.
This campaign is streamed and recorded.
This campaign runs weekly at 10am eastern US time on Saturday.
We use dndbeyond for characters and inventory, discord for voice (mic required), and roll20 for maps.
Alien, beast, and elemental races are not allowed.
If you are interested, please provide your discord, two character ideas you would like to play (including race, subclass, family/friends) and anything else you think I should know.
Sir Beowulf Yggdrasil; Firbolg Cavalier fighter; The Crossroads knights are a group of Firbolgs who's homes and people have been destroyed and dedicated themselves to becoming warriors who protect other firbolg clans as well as any else who is need for protection. This order was created by Beowulf's grandfather Macumber was knighted for being saving a noble family.
Mongrel Godbrand; Satyr Oathbreaker paladin; This satyr was named Mongrel and abandoned for possessing beastial goblinoid features such as fangs and a bugbear stature.. He also has eerie glowing green eyes. One day a minotaur in black armor found him in the streets told him he had demon blood in his veins and to swear an oath to Baphomet as is Mongrels birthright. Not having much of choice Mongrels swore his oath. Some years past and Mongrel grows sick of this life and kills the minotaur in his sleep to live his own life and find his own way.
So, I am coming up with these on the spot but here i go:
Character 1: A luxborn barbarian. This character would be molded after the likes of Hercules etc. The idea of a mortal man over-coming some challenges to become immortal. I have been wanting to play barbarian but don't feel inclined to do the typical 'me smash' barb.
Character 2: A practiced man turned saint. A kensei, sword-saint of great patience, practiced discipline and silent heart. This character would be fighter-samurai and have the hermit background. I would focus on using Iai-justu style fighting and the tenants of the kensei.

I have other more completed characters but not sure if they fit. I have a halfling bard/warlock, a human fighter psi warrior, and a goblin ranger.
Selene Fauna; A Spring Eladrin Druid of the Shepard Circle. She was abandoned by her parents almost immediately after birth and to this day she has no idea as to why. She was left to her own devices from a young age, left in the wilderness and forced to learn to survive or die. The worst part was that the wilds was not the most dangerous thing around her. Mankind took poorly to her presence, scorning and bullying her into the deepest parts of the forest. With the humans close on her trail she feared and expected death, only to be saved by a strange druid wielding the mastered powers of nature to send the trespassers back from whence they came. The only one allowed to remain was the girl, who's injuries were cared for by the druid. She would introduce herself as Selene Flora and after taking the young girl in she would be granted a name and a family, Fauna of the Selene family.
Yurei; A Tiefling Rune Knight. At the age of 17 he left home in search of greater techniques and abilities to improve his fighting prowess. It took him a year of stumbling across the world and lands before finally finding someone who could help him improve. The only problem was it was a Giant. A Giant who he had angered by entering his territory. Yurei ran fast and far hoping to escape the Giants wrath, only to discover that it had no intent in giving chase, only in scaring of any invaders...and Yurei was certainly an invader with a mission. To learn what this Giant could possibly teach him. And so, day after day, after day he asked the Giant to teach him his ways, how to carve runes into his weapons and armor, how to harness the strength of the Giants as a simple man. After a year of constant rejection and continued pestilence the Giant relented and showed him his ways. Yurei would forever be grateful to the Giant known as Bulvar.
Hey, not sure if there are any slots left but I’ll throw my hat in the ring just in case.
character 1: Irayas, is a halfling divination wizard. He was gifted by the gods with the abilities of foresight and prediction but in return became blind and barred from seeing through his eyes ever again. He isn’t very close with his family since they had a falling out when they heard about his condition and that he refused to try and reverse it.
character 2: Kaldin, is a metallic Dragonborn paladin(oath of devotion). He is a descendant of a noble and distinguished Dragonborn family known for being well known and distinguished champions of the realm. But after setting out on his journey, will he learn some of the darkest reaches and secrets his family hold tight to their chest. Only time will tell.
An angel and devil were fighting in the heavens. As the angel made the killing blow they fell to the earth. A meteor hits a farmhouse. There was only one survivor, Amri. In mourning for the collateral damage caused, the angel bound itself to the human in penance vowing to heal the world of its injuries until the lot of mortal life redeems them both. Not sure if you count aasimar as an "alien". If aasimar is allowed this character would be one, but human is fine.
Gilbert - Oath of Devotion Paladin
When they came he stood his ground. When told to run he stayed behind. No more running. No more letting others rule or loot by fear. Peace is a wonderful ideal, but it cannot be achieved by faith alone. Evil's mistake is always making Good men go to war.
