Hey there, I'm Ben and I've been playing 5e for 3 years now. I have three friends with me who have never played a ttrpg before and would like to start a 5e campaign together!
Homebrew or forgotten realms, the setting doesn't matter as long as its mideval fantasy and you think it would be a good introduction for people who have never played before. My friends are interested in role playing so we would like the campaign to be a mix of both combat and role play. However I cannot guarantee the first few sessions won't be a little awkward lol. Political intrigue, drama and adventure is what we are looking for in a campaign and for our backstories to be incorporated. I think it would be best to start at level 1 so everyone can get familiar with their character sheets before having to track 10 different things lol.
Time Slot: 9pm (GMT -8) Friday or Saturdays. Unfortunately this time is not negotiable because all of us are in different time zones across North America, Asia and Europe and would like to avoid one of us from playing at 3am. The only other time that would work would be 7am (GMT -8). We also anticipate the sessions to be 3-4 hours long.
We use discord for voice chat.
About our players: We have a Changling Warlock , Dragonborn Paladin, Custom Race Druid (our friend has something particular in mind which both of you can discuss privately) and I will be playing a Fire Genasi Divine Soul Sorcerer. To know a bit more about us as people though, our paladin is someone who is really into lore and will be interested in your world. Our druid can be chaotic and will do things you might not expect, keeping it fresh. I am someone who asks pc's about themselves and try to involve everyone in rp. And to seal the deal, our warlock draws! We are all college students so it would be nice to have a DM around our age, if not that's ok.
If we sound like a good fit, my discord is Benedict#9669
