So, I'm a long time DM with a vast trove of D&D lore. I though it might be fun to run some games to share the lore.
Example: A gamer IRL wanted to know more about the Spelljammer setting. So I had her make a character and we started a Solo Game(her as the player, me as the GM) instead of me just telling her Spelljammer Lore. So a couple weeks ago she set of Into the Black in search of her long lost mother...and we have been gaming this ever since, as she "plays through" the Spelljammer lore.
This seems like a good idea I can do online.
So, I'm a Sage of Lore for the Forgotten Realms, Soelljammer and Planescape....though the "classic versions" not the "updated 5E lore", not that there is all that much 5E lore. Still there is plenty of untouched lore, as 5E is very lore lite....and to say older editions were lore heavy is an understatement. And the "classic" lore might be good to know, if you are into such things.
So I'm not for running a large game. I really like Solo Focused Games: just one player attempting to do a quest or goal. Though I would not mind a game of two or three players that shared a goal.
I don't care to much what type of character you'd want to play, even homebrew....but something you could provide a link to so I could read it. I'm also open to starting at whatever level you'd like. The game focus is "having fun using lore" not "how quick can I get to 20th level".
We could Play by Post, or run a couple Discord games....whatever works. Discord: Bloodtide#8601
If you like what you have read though....well, lets game.

Some Suggested Spelljammer ideas:
1.The character is a prospector looking for an asteroid belt for adamantine.
2.Space Trucker, in his Turttle Truck trying to make a living.
3.Illithid Experiment: The character is an escaped subject, on the run.
4.Spelljammer race: the character is a pilot in a race, with few rules.
5.Pirate: The character is a pirate.
