HElLO my DND group is looking for a player we prefer you are an experienced player (least 3 months) and is willing to play a paladin or cleric (|I SUGGEST CLERIC) lmk if interested dm me at LOONA#0773
I can play a cleric if it's weekday evenings. Let me know if you're playing 5e, what platform you're using, and a little about the group/campaign (like their alignment or play style). Here's my info:
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either Experience: Veteran RPG player but new to 5e & online gaming Location/Timezone: Eastern Kentucky EST Availability: Available most evenings Tuesday - Friday Preferred role: Player Game style: I have been playing RPGs for many years, started with AD&D (1e) way back when, then played RoleMaster & GM'd for years. I love adventure role-playing. It's a beautiful thing when a group of diverse characters comes together. I can play anything needed to round-out a group. New to 5e. But I've been watching Critical Role campaign 2 on YouTube. (Sam Riegel is my favorite.) Loving all the content easily available on DnD Beyond.
Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, "No. You move."
Turns out I am on Discord after all. I Joined a few years back for a VTT game (on Fantasy Grounds) and forgot all about it. On discord I'm Chris5660#4323. And I signed up for a free account on Roll20.

I'd like to join you on Wednesday at 7:30 if you're still looking for a cleric. Is that 7:30 EST? Should I go ahead and make 5th level cleric? Any special homebrew rules I should know about, like everyone gets a bonus feat, or everyone has max hit points?
I have a cleric I re-created from a game I played in years ago, but it only lasted a few sessions and I didn't have much of a chance to explore the character. She's a LN zealot of Wee Jas (Grayhawk goddess of magic & death, patron of magic-users). Her main focus is healing; not much of a combatant. She makes potions of healing, which is cool. She has a lot of stuff but no magic items (except a lantern with a Continual Flame spell she made herself). As a 5th level character maybe your GM would be kind enough to give her a few decent magic items or make her armor or staff magical or give her a Bag of Holding. That would be nice; she could ditch her wagon and chest full of gear and just ride a horse like a "normal" adventurer.
If she works with your group, great. If not, I can make a different flavor of cleric. Ask your DM to reply to this thread or message me on Discord @Chris5660#4323. Look forward to gaming with you.

Oh crap! I thought you guys played on Wednesday, but I just re-read the thread and see that you play on Tuesday. Oh well. My offer still stands. If you're still in search of a cleric to join the group, please private message me here or reply to this post. I also saw the thread is closed, so if I don't hear back from you I'll assume you found your cleric. Either way, good luck to you.

Sorry. I was out with friends tonight. I wasn't expecting to hear back from you so quick. Does my cleric of Wee Jas sound like a good fit for your group? I can advance her to level 7 and send you a link or pdf on Discord. If you approve of her I could join you next Wednesday. And if you wanted to meet between now and then we could do a "session 0" so we can get acquainted and you can get her setup to meet the rest of the group.
At what time do you play (and what time zone)? How late do you go?
