I'm looking for a group of committed players that want to play in a 5e campaign. I have a homebrew world with it's own pantheon and groups. I like to run a game with a fairly even split of exploration, role play and combat. Some groups want to murderhobo and some want to be diplomatic so the way the campaign plays out is up to you. I use discord and abovevtt to run the game. Starting from level one, I do milestone leveling, looking for 5 or 6 players.

I like to craft my campaign around my players back stories, so I would like a backstory from each person wanting to play. when I have a small group of people I will pick which day we play based on everyone's availability. 3 hour window from 5-11pm US Eastern Time zone. The Awakening, was a time 100 years ago where great beings from above brought their war onto the planet amongst the people. It lasted for almost a full year, during this time the sky's were purple and crackling with engery, the water would glow a milky blue, and all the local plant and wildlife began to mutate and change continually. Little is known to be proven fact about the Awakening but many people hold the things they hear passed down from their ancestors to be true, leading to the creation of the religions people follow to this day. High ranking members of these churches are called Witnesses because they are said too have seen some of the events with their own eyes.
As magic as we know it reaches the centennial of it's discovery, people are still having mixed feelings about it's use and general existence. While the magic alternative, the mechanical industry, has excelled quicker than anyone could of imagined with the use of magic, there are still those who refuse to use it believing it to be evil and blasphemous to the gods.

Those who do seek magic have started widening their networks with teleportation, or have been speeding up production with transmutation. It has lead to a widening of the wealth gap and a grab for power amongst the top mages who are quickly becoming the world's richest people, along with those willing to risk working with them. Some see this wave of progress as a bad thing and long for the simpler days of the past and have formed groups dedicated disrupting the arcane progress.

Sounds like a fun campaign setting. I have a few character ideas. If possible I would like to connect my backstory to at least one other player character.

I can play for ~3 hours during 5-11pm US Eastern Time zone

I would be interested depends on the times however.
I can fill a few roles well enough. I do like to be on the frontline, however I can also play support too.

Mondays around those time could work pretty well. I have two character's in mind that either that could fit in with this lore setting of yours.

Sounds like a really interesting campaign; I'm a huge fan of home-brewed campaigns that allow for folks to really share in the collaborative story-telling aspects and build characters that can tie into the world!
