Hello, I'm Dan or Bugsy (Whichever name is preferred or easiest). Age 23 Male of the Human Race. I'm fairly new to D&D with knowledge over the basics of gameplay. I don't mind who I play with so long as the group is nice and fun to be around! I'm open to playing face to face, but I prefer online so I can play almost anywhere. I love making exotic characters to play as, preferring homebrewed races and subclasses to allow for better creativity. I am fine with sticking to the traditional material also, having experience with playing a Tiefling and Human Ranger in the past. I am also a bit of an artist and like to fully sketch my characters. All in all I prefer to be experimental with character designs, give a set of traits, personalities and ideals and see how they develop along the story of the campaign. I am not afraid to lose a character either, it's not something that will bother me. I will always try to act in-character as best as I can.
So if a group would have me, I would very much love to discuss with the DM the limits of character creation, what sources I can use like Unearthed Arcana or Xanathar's or Player made content, and anything else that might pop into my head.
Regarding actual gameplay I am not familiar with every spell or skill in the game, nor am I familiar with every monster or creature in the game. All in all it's likely a good thing having no knowledge of them so there would be much less bias towards meta gaming. (I don't actively try to meta game, just having base knowledge sometimes seeps into characters when the character isn't suppose to). I will act accordingly to my character's intentions, I don't automatically favour combat or roleplay as a general rule. I am unafraid to play beginner or advanced campaigns, I welcome pretty much anything thrown my way. If I'm a good candidate to join a group, please do message me if you have any questions, want my Discord username or even see my character art. I'm unsure on how to share that on this forum so blehhhh.
I think that concludes everything, and thank you for taking the time to read my post!
