Game:D&D 5e: Princes of the Apocalypse Group type:Online utilizing Discord for voice/video, Roll20 for visuals, D&D Beyond for character sheets Experience: New / a few years / veteran Location/Timezone:Central Standard Time Schedule:Alternating Saturdays at 5pm CST [and sometimes back to back Saturdays if players are available] (next game is 2/11) Roles sought:1 player Game style:Heavy roleplay and character development with challenging battles, main quest line with underlying mystery plot and optional side quests. Milestone leveling with optional feats and multiclassing. LGBTQIA+ friendly. We do stream our gameplay on Twitch and Youtube.
This is an ongoing campaign our group has been playing for 2 years now starting at level 1, recently hitting level 8 and with plans to get to level 20. PotA only goes from lvl 1-15 however I have added an entire over arching plot that will take players to level 20. You will start out at level 8 alongside the rest. If you love the idea of developing a character and getting to play out their backstory in some manner - this is the game for you. We use real dice for rolling so honor system is a must (you are free to use digital dice if you prefer). We also utilize grievous and permanent wounds tables to add significance to a character dying and being brought back. The party currently consists of a College of Spirits Bard, Swashbuckler Rogue/Warlock, Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer/Warlock, and War Domain Cleric.
Our group is super friendly and welcoming and we always count the days until we can get together to play. This game setting takes place in the forgotten realms where magic has recently returned; elemental cult activity has been growing in the Dessarin Valley and surrounding villages and towns have felt their cruelty. But what is driving such a large gathering of cultists that generally don't get along?
PM me if interested with your experience (if any), character idea(s), your age and if you have any preferred pronouns or triggers you'd like to avoid. If you are new, don't fear - I'm happy to spend time with you getting you up to speed and don't worry about asking questions - we are all still learners :)
