Im interested in trying out DnD 5e. I've played 2 or 3 sessions before but the group quickly fizzled out and sometimes were so distracted we didn't even finish the session. Id like to join a beginner friendly campaign. In the last couple years I've watched most of a campaign on youtube/podcasts and seen many videos on rules and builds. However, I have little experience and may take a little to get accustomed to actually playing. The aspects I find most interesting are mainly combat, puzzles, and exploration. I am shy by nature so I may not be the most social in the party but strategy and efficiency is both fascinating and rewarding to me.
I have a DnD Beyond account with no additional sources but I have a virtual copy of The Players Handbook and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything which I've enjoyed reading bits of every now and then.
The most ideal time slots for me would be Monday or Wednesday nights between 6pm-10pm PT, and most weekends. Im busy with work Mon-Fri 7am-6pm. Although, I am willing to flex on other days and times if we can communicate beforehand.
I've got a new campaign that is using a twist on D&D 5e called Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition. It is described as adding depth, but not complexity to D&D 5e. We're running Mondays at 6pm CST/CDT, currently with a group of 4. As a GM, I have about 7 years of experience and have used a fair bit of that helping new players become acquainted with the game.
