I have played homebrewed 5e a few times over the last few years. All groups I've played with ended up quitting around the 5th - 9th session. I figured I could try my luck at online games since games with family don't seem to last.
I am busy on and off most of the week except for Sunday evenings around 4 EST and on.
You’re welcome to join my group i run on Sunday evenings,
we tun short adventures that last a few sessions at a time, you’ll spend maybe 5 sessions tops in any given location, then its on to a new place with a new theme.
well, i also forgot to mention some players left the group recently to pursue other activities, so theres that... im looking for players. aside from that, its pretty casual. the players would've just obtained some magic items, and they're traveling around from region to region solving problems in heroic fashion. the finer details come with the locations you guys visit. its set in standard D&D mythology, so orcs, goblins, wizards and strange things abound.
the upcoming journey has influences of spanish horror for flavour.
so yeah, 4th level, milesstone leveling, and simple character creation (no multiclassing *yet*, players handbook or basic rules for race and class options) and to continue the simplicity, flavour your character however you want in terms of who they are, but for backstory.... keep things extra light, otherwise its a bunch of corny shoehorning to allow your character to even exist. its best to just go with the flow and say you were already apart of the party, and we'll just retcon you in.
