I just finished reading the d&d handbook and would like to join a group that follows the rules of the handbook. For the campaign, my preference is the medieval setting and would like to stay away from modern or futuristic settings. I have created my character on the d&d beyond website and I am a cleric if that is any perquisite for particular groups. If there are any restrictions regarding equipment or gold to start, I will be flexible to meet the requirements.

I have a game that starts sunday at 8pm central last till 11pm we are getting ready to start dungeon of the mad mage

I have a few questions before I join. Do I need to select equipment and gold, or will I do that in the game? Also I’m a level 0 so will I be ready for this dungeon? What is the theme of the campaign? Is it custom or premade?
