Looking for a couple characters to add into a 3year existing campaign. We jump from content to content as we tour around the realms and try not to get killed...So far we have been pretty successful but things could change.
We just have a good time and I try to entertain everyone.
Thursday nights 10:30pm EST. Usually play for 2-3 hours. There is a possibility of moving this to Friday nights depends on the preference of new characters as the existing ones are easy going on either night.
Not looking for you to make a character to 'fit' the party...the game can be altered around you. Just play what you want to play...I do have some restrictions, not sure what they all are but I'll know it when I see it. Except definitely no artificers!
Send a character concept with detailed appearance and mannerisms.
I'm Tim and pretty new to D&D having played a few sessions many years ago and then returning to 5e. I live in the PNW, Pacific Standard Time, and can make the Thursday night time slot. It shouldn't be a problem. I currently belong to two groups playing on the weekends and trying to gather experience as a player.
As for my characters, I've made several with their own character flaws:
-A half elf/human rogue/thief/smuggler. He travels as wandering trader/fish monger while trying to figure out his next heist. He's on a 12 step AA program for elves having been a raging alcoholic for years. In one of my current games, I'm partnered with an equally alcoholic dwarf paladin and he's going to "fall off the wagon" on the next session due to the paladin's antics for wanting to drink.
-A human fighter/former soldier. He has PTSD issues from his time in service. Perhaps a certain points in the game, he could be "triggered" resulting in inaction with a DC10-12 Persuasion check to get him back to reality. I have yet to use him in a group and wanting to try him out in the future.
Sounds like a cool group! I have a few years of experience as a player and DM on mostly homebrew campaigns. I have an as-yet unplayed character you can find here, together with illustrations:
Personality traits: bored with life and the universe, and will do strange things to make something interesting happen, even if it endangers the party. Records the goings-on of the multiverse in his travelogue and book, and so he sometimes shows an odd attention to seemingly unimportant details, which he stops to write down.
About me: 39yo neural engineering PhD student. Located in Seattle, WA area. Several years of DnD experience as a player and DM. I tend to get excited for the campaign and create art for it, including hand drawn/painted maps, making steins in my pottery studio depicting our adventures, Midjourney art generation to support the campaign visuals.
I'm interested in this campaing and I have been playing for the past 6 yrs.
Player Concept
Brother Berwyn is a 23 yr old human Peace Cleric who was raised at a temple of Eldath the goddess of Peace and Tranquility. But this was a brotherhood of zealots that used force and death to ensure the peace. So at a young age Berwyn was trained in the art of combat and told to fight for peace. He is trusting, rash, ready to be violent but will always greet his brothers with a smile and an ale. He cares deeply about the people who raised him and will always defend his friends. But his constant pursuit for peace leads him down a path of death and often is conflict about the destruction of the world and how adding to problem isn't fixing it but he still fights for it. He is ready to try new things and often seeks them out but one thing he doesn't stray from his is faith. His lady is one thing he loves above else and you will often catch him calling her mother instead of my lady or goddess.
Hey I’m interested in joining if you’ve still got room. I have more than enough ideas for characters. I can have a sheet made for any of these ideas and a few others depending on the needs of the group. I’ve got more time to play lately and would like to try some of these out.

Necromancer using their powers to protect the innocent after family was killed by nobles, using their bodies to enact revenge. Uses fathers spear as a staff, mothers knife as a wand/focus.
Goliath possessed to kill own tribe by demon sword entity, which was given physical form after the massive blood sacrifice. Vows revenge as an act of regaining honor.
Lizard folk searching for refuge of tribe who are being persecuted while also securing funds and means of protection. wishes to be free of the responsibilities of the tribe and is fond of various means of debauchery.
Half tiefling /Goliath searching for father (tiefling) when mother (Goliath) becomes ill. She believes she won’t recover so she tells him of his father, and where to start looking. In an effort to bring his father back to say goodbye to his mother, and make up for the time lost. Mostly by beating the hell out of him.
Common folk possessed by a demon who realizes the vessel has strange innate powers. The demon was also banished from its realm so if it dies in this plane it permanently ceases as a mortal would. The demon Needs to find a means to become immortal again and enact revenge on the demon lords that banished it. The common folk manages to break through the possession at times or when allowed by the possessor, this character could be voiced by the dm for humor.
Warlock whose partner died and was secretly fae. In his time of grieving she heard his cries of anguish and she granted him fae warlock powers. Using his newfound powers he searches for a way to bring her back to his plane whole.
Dark elf male attempting to escape with his lover from the city. After being tracked for weeks through the underdark the couple was cornered by priestesses of Lloth and warriors from the city. Outnumbered and overpowered there was no chance of escape or survival. The couple steeled themselves and said their goodbyes. The forces of Lloth attacked but before their strikes landed an otherworldly light filled the absolute darkness, surrounding the couple in radiant energy. Both were empowered by the energy of an unknown god who had heard their unrelenting love. A great sword of light appeared in the male’s hand. In the female’s, twin curved blades. They smiled at each other and launched themselves at the stunned dark elves of Lloth.
Arkon, Dragonborn Paladin with blue eyes. Is a triplet with sister Ibris, and brother Jabral. All 3 were sent from their clan to find a way to open a portal to their homeland and bring back the rest of their clan from another dimension. Grandfather was the one who led the revolt and escape to the current plane. His partner, the grandmother, was captured during the escape and he was unable to rescue her before the portal closed
Golem made from an accidental summoning where a novice wizard was centered at the summoning. the earth to form the golem crushed around him instead of from the ground beneath. This gave the golem accidental sentience and magical abilities due to the dead body of the wizard still inside of him permanently
Warlock with sponsors who are twins representing opposite forces, pulling the warlock in opposite directions
Shifter werebear Druid battling with his bestial and civilized side attempting to find a balance. Clan pressures him to embrace his beast side and become full werebear permanently. Loves food, especially salmon and honey, but is a terrible cook on account of fire making him nervous. This is because a town near his clan led an angry mob to his clan after an incident with a girl when his rage transformed him. A pack of wolves attacked them while they were playing in the forest together and he fully transformed for the first time to protect her. His rage and fury inadvertently harmed and frightened her. When she tried to tell her people what happened they assumed it was an attack from the clan instead of protection. Inciting a violent mob that attacked and burned the clans homes.
