I would be interested in joining as a player. I have 6 years of experience, so I'm happy answering any questions and helping out where I can. I am over 18 though, so I don't know how much of an issue that is. Whether you go ahead with me or not, there are a few things I should raise (especially with the experience I have running games online).
While voice isn't required, it is SO much better. Discord is free, really easy to use, and you can set up private servers. Text games can get clunky and very easy to lose focus if you're waiting for one person to type out a long paragraph. I get it can be daunting at first but everyone is in the same boat and typically only meeting people for the first time.
Roll20 is the best VTT, bar none (in my opinion). It isn't the flashiest, but the UI is the best for beginners and, as you get more familiar with it, you can start to expand from there. I don't mind sharing the books and stuff I have there either.
Hey, 13 here looking for a DND group. Roll 20 has a chat feature and totally works. I’m open to Dming but would much rather play. I actually love Roll 20 instead of discord. My user name is GeekyLemon. I can start a session just to get us all in check if you want?
