Are you tired of having to decide what flavor 'good' you have to play. Do you choose one of the neutrals because you have to?
It's time to let the EVIL out.
Evil characters in an evil world.... at that point what is evil anyway?
The characters all know each other as some kind of guild, performers, or whatever group you all decide on. The game starts with your group on the road to a festival hosted by Lord Wolfe. It's an annual festival that draws the best and the worst in equal measure. This year it's shaping up to be the biggest yet. Not only has word gone out of a big announcement planned but Lord Wolfe's own champion is there to fight in the games. Any who can best her is promised a boon from the Lord himself!
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online. Discord and Roll20 or Owlbear Experience: Not brand new. Have developed and played at least 3 characters or a total of 15 levels of play. Location/Timezone: 7pm EST Tuesdays weekly. Game style: Depends on the characters. As it stands now the players are about 60/40 leaning towards RP. I will adjust the story accordingly.
Starting level to be determined by group dynamic but probably 5ish.
DM me if you're interested and tell me what ideas you have for a character and what kind of organization/guild/cover story you'd like your party to be.
This is a homebrew world. It is a new campaign. The open spots aren't because people dropped out. I already have 3 players that I've been playing with for a while.
My last homebrew online game just finished after a little over a year of (mostly) weekly play. So that should give you a sense of the level of commitment I have as well as the players who are already part of the group.
My DM style morphs a lot depending on the players styles but in general I favor moving the narrative along over bogging down in rules any day. With that said I do have a few house rules that you'll be made aware of at session 0. There's nothing crazy and most of them have been accepted as RAI or rule of cool at this point.
I do ask my players for their preferred irl pronouns and I do often call anyone 'dude'. IRL sexual preferences, or lack of, have 0 bearing at my table. If that's an issue for you as a player you can skip this game.
This campaign does have some mature themes and topics so I'd prefer 21+
