Availability: Monday through Sunday 11:30pm - 5:00am. Could POSSIBLY make something work in the early hours that would need to be wrapped up by 12:00pm.
Hobbies and interests: Aside from work and training, I'm usually pretty lazy and a gamer. It helps to get away from the world and have fun.
Experience in DnD: My experience with DnD is limited, not exactly new. But RP experience is up there. Not too heavy on voice acting though some silliness and tweaks work. I started out with Forum play by post style and then turn based chat RP.
Discord: PipVII#2172
Personal strengths and weaknesses for dnd: I am an AVID fan of team work. Noone should feel left out or behind, but I get that everyone has their own, "People," limit. My weakness... I am NOT tech savvy so I'd probably accept an abundance of help and understanding when dealing with VTT if that is being utilized.
What are you looking for in the game: I'm looking for something fun, obviously, and would really prefer long term so the characters can be fully played and developed. Back stories are a spectacular. Slice of life is imperative in my opinion to allow the world to feel lived in, and the characters alive! But we all know the main draw is combat or using the skills we've worked so hard to gain with our characters!
What type of tone or vibe do you like for DMs to follow in games? : By all means, guide us, join in with an NPC if you feel like. I've known some that like to get involved with a literal roulette wheel to see who we meet in a town for them to get involved with and guide players along. I've also had some that are just along for the ride and genuinely enjoy just setting the stage. If the actors haven't rehersed their lines that's no fault of the set/prop designer, you know?
What types of players do you like and dislike to play a game with: It takes all sorts to make the world, so too rings true at the table. Things CAN get over done and tropish. But I feel if people are confident in their characters and stick true to the design wonderful stories can be told. It's best to keep open minds. That said, above table I do not have time for or tolerate blatant ignorance or hatred.
Character(s) Information: I have five characters in mind at current that could be thrown together with what would fit well with party and setting.
1. The Human Fighter/Warlock - A retired guard/peace keeper that gets drawn back into the life; There's more that would be worked on with the DM.
2. The Human Barbarian/Fighter - An old man looking for an honorable death that's evaded him into old age, much to his disappointment and shame.
3. The Human Warlock/Sorcerer - A physically damaged man looking to scrape by, and eventually take revenge. This one would require a bit of insight and work with the DM to see if certain aspects are acceptable/okay with their world.
4. The Teifling Rogue/Warlock - He's care free and chaotic, always down for an adventure. Fancies himself the Robin Hood type. He's got a soft spot for outcasts and orphans. Complete-ish... With his own Maid Marian.
5. The Changeling Rogue/Wizard - He is a bit to work with. Would prefer to play these cards close to the chest and work with the DM on a few things in regards to his back story/plot uses. He doesn't go by TB for nothing.
Looking forward to making some friends and sharing adventures!
