Hey! I’m new

Hey there! I’d love to join a game of DnD as a first time player. I’m still in school, and can only play sometimes, and I have no intention of downloading discord or play via a video, see each other’s faces, type thing. I know a solid amount of the rules, my main problem is that I don’t know much about DnD lore. So if some things lore wise were explained to me, that’d be cool. I’m honestly just looking for a game I can join so that I understand playing better and can hopefully start playing with my friends, who know about as much as me. Please give me a shot! I think I’m a cool person, but idk.

I'm very new to D&D as well and discord or not, I'd like to build some experience!

short bio: I'm a high school teacher looking to start a D&D club at my high school, alot of students have expressed interest and I thought It would be cool to start an afterschool club.

I am extremely new to dnd. In fact I just saw the movie and was like, ok, I wanna join the hobby. I do have experience with a game similar called world of warcraft but I don't know if that amounts to anything. In any case I would love to join this group if it is becoming one because I don't think anybody in my house or neighborhood would play dnd with me.

Hi I have an idea of how to be a dungeon master but I don't really wanna be one. Also I have never been a dungeon master before.

Kinda same with me, I could do it, I just don’t know enough lore and I would like to play a character my first actual time playing. You could join me and look for a dm who’ll play for free and w/ first-timers, though.

Hey guys I have a little experience DMing and would happily get you started for a few months, mainly looking to get back into being a player myself but happy to help people learn and get experience. What's everyone's Timezone situation?

I'm GMT in Northern Ireland. I can do evenings for a few hours and it would vary week by week or every other week depending on schedules.

Discord voice chat is easiest but I can work with some kind of live messenger. Everyone can be as heavy into roleplay or combat as they like, no pressure if you prefer one or the other.

Just checking in, it has been 5 months and I haven't said or prepared or played squat when it comes to dnd so I don't think that it would be fun for any of us if I joined the circle if that it how you say it. In any case it has been fun meeting y'all and I hope you have fun.
