[LFP] 1 Needed for Online Group. USA-based. Sundays 3pm PST.

Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online
Experience: Some 70s/80s vets, some brand new
Location/Timezone: Participants are located out of California (PST), Utah (MST), and Oklahoma (CST).
Schedule: Game time starts Sunday afternoons, 3pm Pacific time. Ends scheduled end at 6pm Pacific time, occasionally runs late to 6:30pm.
Roles sought: We are seeking a single player to replace someone who got extremely busy.
Game style: Our DM is returning, not having DM'd since AD&D 2E (1990's).  Having spent a few years playing 5e, he has picked up a few adventures and is currently running a hybrid between the Lost Mines of Phandelver and the Dragon of Icespire Peak.  When this campaign is completed, he will be starting a new campaign.  The party has barely scratched the surface of this first campaign when one of their players needed to drop.  We'd like to replace them as quickly as possible. We currently have the PHB, Tasha's, Xanathar's, and Volo's Guide as character creation sourcebooks.  Our games are very casual, with our intent just having a relaxing time with some good adventuring.  We use Discord for voice communication during game night and keeping in touch, and we use Roll 20 as our virtual tabletop.  If you're looking for a fun, long-term, casual group of new friends who aren't going to care if you're brand new or a pro, get in touch with me and I'll get together with you for a quick chat before game time. We're all just really looking for friendly folks, age and experience doesn't matter.  Nearly everyone in the group is military or ex-military (or "military adjacent") so there's enough profanity to advise being over 18.

We all want our players to have a good time and become casual friends, so we don't need much but to ensure that we'll meet your gaming needs on our end.

Hey there!  I'm available at those times, in Arkansas.  My discord is Severayah#4690 and so long as I've got a slight heads up and it's after 1-2pm CST I can generally hop into a call to chat to get to know eachother.  As a follow up,  I own most if not all of the player-side content (at least the ability to use them in the character creator) and have to ability to content share.  So I'd be expanding things a little, if you're interested.

I'd be remiss not to throw my hat into the ring here, despite there being a few interested parties ahead of me. 

Why me? My D&D playing experience goes back to pen and paper when I was a kid. Didn't get into this new age of 5e until 2019. Been reading Forgotten Realms books almost my whole life though. I own most content so I too can share of needed. Was involved administratively in a West March style discord server with my brother until I couldn't commit to the time requirements (Play by post wasn't for me. Give me an actual group of friends around a table any day, be it virtual or real.) On top of all that, though I'm not military, I've been a member of an American Legion for 8 years so I'm used to swearing. Hell, I've been playing rugby for 15 years and some of the best guys I've played with were military.
