Looking for 2 Players for a Long-Term, (somewhat) Real Play 5e DnD Campaign (Thursdays 9pm EST)

What's good? I'm looking for 2 players to be part of a campaign I'm running on Thursdays at 9pm EST. Experience is not required, so I'm accepting anyone with any level of experience; you could be someone who's been playing since 1st Edition to someone who's never held dice in your life; in fact, one of the players has never played before. The day and time are non-negotiable and this is not a paid game or anything, just some friends getting weird and occasionally rolling some dice. We use Discord for voice chat and everything while Fantasy Grounds will be our battlemap, dice roller, character creator, etc. Sessions will probably be around 2-3 hours long and hopefully more roleplay than combat, as I don't like how long combat takes sometimes, so combat encounters will (hopefully) be quick or at the very least, engaging and not boring. There will be 4 players and I already have 2, so I just need 2 more, also non-negotiable. I'm refraining from using homebrew classes, races, mechanics, etc. Obviously, I will be the dungeon master and I'm just looking for players who are laid back and trying to have fun (while still taking the character creation process seriously) and not min-max their characters. The campaign will not have any sexual related stuff or anything dark but I'd still like everyone to be older than 18 but the campaign will mention the usual DnD fantasy stuff, i.e., death, light dismemberment, gross diseases, but not much graphic detail. It's possible I'll get more than 2 people interested, so if you're not picked for the campaign, don't take it personally. All players will be starting at level 1 and no particular classes or races come to mind for a ban list but that may change later on. The two players have already chosen a Bard and a Sorcerer, so you won't be able to pick either of those classes, but the other ones are still on the table. The world and history and everything is created by yours truly, me, but will still use inspiration from DnD, Witcher, Elder Scrolls, and whatever other videogames/movies/books/podcasts you could probably make a reference to.

I'm an older player, but enjoy character work as much as combat.  I have a characters both standard and homebrew and have been known to crack up tables and DMs by playing around at funny times.  Any characters of mine you want me to play will come with a measure of story that can be woven in or adapted.

I was in a game until this week, but the DM needed time to do personal stuff, so I'm hoping to find a new game.
