Don't play with this guy!!!! As soon the players decide to do something not quest-related, the DM leaves. Example: my character has dead parents and I wanted to go to a graveyard in a small town to pay my respects, my party agreed to go and so we asked the DM if we could, but then he left and blocked all of us on Discord without saying a word. This DM also doesn't know much and constantly needs to look at his notes (which takes time from the players) Tip for everyone who wants to play a good game: find someone a professional and flexible DM, in case you want to do something fun instead of killing goblins over and over again.

but i have and i know from experience Softy dreams is speaking truth 

so why not go with me sure I'm not the best but, I like doing side quests and love character lore. I read it multiple times. I do have to refresh my notes occasionally, but it is not often. I even have an rp group that focuses on the characters themselves, sure it is not dnd but hey, it's good practice for character-building.
