Looking to explore the various aspects of space-faring adventures? Always wanted to play in a space opera-esque game? I am looking for a group of 4-6 players to DM for some weeknight sessions! I have experience in DMing for experienced and new players, so anybody feel free to join! I am looking to run the Spelljammer Academy (levels 1-5) and/or Light of Xaryxis (starting at level 5) as a follow-up or new campaign!
When? Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday starting at approximately 6 pm EST. We can run anywhere from 2-4 sessions per month!
Where? Discord and DNDBeyond!
About me: I'm a pretty laid-back individual (he/him) in my 20s, who enjoys DMing games for my friends, and wants to give DMing for others a try! I look to run fun and interactive sessions that are comfortable for others! Because after all, this is a game that is meant to be fun for all!
About the sessions: We will have session 0 (which is free of charge) in which we can go over any areas of discomfort, i.e. lines and veils, as well as general etiquette for the sessions (really just confirming that we will all be decent people and accepting of others :) ). I will create a campaign in DNDbeyond for you to make your characters, and any official DND material is available for use! From experience, the sessions should run about 3-4 hours on average. Spelljammer Academy should run 4 sessions long, and Light of Xaryxis should run 12 sessions long. The session fees will be paid after the sessions through Paypal, and go towards paying for the modules, the time I put in to put everything together (such as VTT maps and the like), as well as ensuring my time and presence to run these sessions!
Developing characters: I will have y'all use either point buy or standard array for character creation, and any official DND materials are free to use. If you want to also look at different UA options, let me know and I can take a look at it! As mentioned previously, for Spelljamming Academy, characters will be at level 1, and for Light of Xaryxis, characters will start at level 5. Additionally, if Spelljammer Academy is skipped, or new characters are used, you will also get 1 uncommon magic item to begin.
Please let me know if you are interested in exploring the Spelljamming setting for some good times and laughs!
