MON, TUE, or WED - 5:30pm CST - 7:30pm CST Start Time - [18+] - Friendly/Laid Back

Hello,

I'm a man 31yo looking for a group of adults to play with online on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday with a start time no earlier than 5:30 CST and no later than 7:30 CST. I'm happy playing 1-3 times a month. Happy to play on or off camera. I am able to use Zoom or Discord (i'll create a Discord account once a group is found). Ideally, I would like to play with a group of 3-6, in a 5e world with mixed homebrew. I have a Deep Gnome Ranger I would love to run. I have 5 years experience with DnD. I've DM'd before, but prefer to be a player. I love a healthy mix of RP, combat, and puzzles. I would really like to get in at the ground floor of a long running campaign with a rich lore that will allow for character development and leveling. Let me know if you're running something close to this!

I realize it’s not exactly what your looking for currently but we have a discord group that is mostly between 20-40 year olds who play both one shots, mini adventures, and even a campaign periodically (anyone is welcome to Dm or play if someone has one running and has open space). I have a (maybe biweekly) home brew set of one shots that lead to a mini adventure in the planning phase that I will be posting soon looking for between 4-6 players each session and after my current regular campaign ends I will be planning another with 3-4 players for a long term campaign based on a home brew world. We have two or three people who Dm with a good amount of players. 
little info I’m in my late 30s, I Dm and play in the group, I’m semi new at dnd for the most part, and completely new at dming so all I ask of the people in the group is to be kind and patient to everyone new and veterans. We’re definitely a fun group, we can be raunchy and joke around but still be respectful to each other.

Most of us use AboveVTT with Dndbeyond for the character sheets and maps (including myself) as well as the discord. 

Hello, this sounds great! Will you reach out once you start the long term campaign? I would love to see a character I create come into his own. Also, I’m not familiar with AboveVTT. Would you care to tell me more? Raunchy and respectable sound great to me. Lol.

I’ll also send you the link to the discord group via private message so if you ever get the itch to join and chat with the others or want to jump into a one shot, or mini adventure session etc you can always if you’d like. (I don’t change the link so it should be active even later on). AboveVTT is somewhat similar to Roll20 if you’ve ever used it, it links directly from Dndbeyond from your character sheet when in the campaign page, has maps, tokens, character page that links to your skills/spells/etc. If you do end up joining the discord page I have (as well as others) some standing one shot campaigns links that you are welcome to join if you wanted to be able to check AboveVTT out and you can play around a bit with it. It is very new user friendly I have found (being I joined online just a few months ago and now play and Dm on above). Happy to answer any questions I can ;) 

Hey, I think you might have found a group, but just in case I am part of a Discord community that centers around D&D. We have games weekly and are starting a new campaign new, the "bones" are Lost Mines of Phandelver, but the DM has added so much wonderful bonus content and secrets to find and explore that it can take up to a year to finish the campaign if you really get into it. Afterwards the group has the option of continuing into a new module (Tyranny of Dragons, Curse of Strahd, Storm Kings Thunder, or Tomb of Annihiliation) if they want with the same characters to continue the story. There is definitely a good mix of RP and Combat, puzzles are based on groups, but if the group is into puzzles he is more than willing to provide! :) If you are interested lemme know and I can get you an invite to the Discord to come ask questions and chat with some of the other players.
