I have a group of 5 players looking for a DM. I played in college (back in the day before every home had a computer), and my children and a couple friends want to get started playing on a regular basis. We all have characters and are enthusiastic role players.
We have access to Fantasy Grounds, Tabletop Gamer, or Roll20. In addition, I have a discord channel. We're looking to get a regular group together.
We are on East Coast time and can be flexible about days and times.
Depending on the day and time I might be interested. I've been doing this since any home had a computer. And I have been DMing exclusively since the early 90s. Let me know what you're thinking.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
As for me, I choose to believe that an extinct thunder lizard is running a game of Dungeons & Dragons via Twitter!
I would be very interested in giving it a go. I'm available anytime Monday thru Thursday and Sunday nights Eastern Time. I spend weekends with my daughter.
I'm comfortable and knowledgeable with 5e. I'm new to DMing but I'm confident I'll be good at it. I DMd a time or two back in the 3e days and have learned much from studying other great DMs like Matt Mercer from Critical Role.
I own an Ultimate license for Fantasy Grounds and most of the official 5e content so players don't need to buy a license and can access my content for free under my license.
So far I've only used Fantasy Grounds as a player so there may be a little learning curve while I learn how to use it from the DM side of the app. But that shouldn't take long.
As a new DM I think a group of new enthusiastic players would be ideal. I promise if you'll be patient and helpful with me while I get my feet wet I'll do the same for you.
Please PM me if interested or want more info. I hope to hear from you.
Oooooo, you sound like you know your stuff. We're pretty flexible on days and times. My daughter just graduated HS and my son finishes school next week. I have a friend in IL who's available after 6pm EST. We just started Lost Mine of Phandelver with me as the DM, and while we had fun, we only made it to the mouth of the first cave due to may lack of savvy.
Do you have Fantasy Grounds or other online game/map system?

I'm not sure if your response is meant for me or the other responder. Anyway, I replied to your PM with more info.

I am going to assume you are going with WW. I wish you all the best of luck in your game.
