I'm a DM who currently has a Wednesday group that has been going strong, but I've been missing that fix of being a player in an immersive game. I am looking to make new friends and experience new worlds in someone else's homebrew game. I have been playing DnD for over 10 years now (started back in 3.5) and it is by far my favorite past time. I am a full time college student so weekend evenings are unfortunately/fortunately the best times for me during the week.
What Level of Experience Do You Have? I have played in many campaigns over the 10 years, from starting in 3.5 up until recently where I finished a year+ long campaign that went from lvl 3-20. I have a lot of experience in MMORPG's (WoW, FFXIV) and a lot of those role based systems are synonymous with TTRPGs. My passion is being a DM and I have dove deep into game design theory to better enhance my table's experience.
Online or In person Game? I currently live in ATX so if the potentiality for an in game person was available I'd consider it, but an online game is mostly preferable for convenience.
Play Preferences I prefer to play at a table that is group orientated, not individual orientated. I want to work with a party to be able to uncover mysteries, cooperate together during intense and strategic combat, and experience downtime together and get to know my fellow characters while I am in character. I prefer deep RP and playing off of eachother with improv and not being afraid to get silly when the time calls for it.
Open for a paid game? Full time college student, I'm broke...I can't join a paid game unfortunately ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
First Choice Character Concept I have an Order Domain Cleric 1/Divine Soul Sorcerer X build that I want to bring into a game. The character is a half elf politician who has been granted divine powers ala divine soul sorcerer build, but prays to X god of your world to sustain the order domain cleric portion. He is a half elf with a noble background but through the course of your game, gets into danger with the party and isn't afraid to get in on the action.
I'm open to talking out ideas with people and first and foremost I'd prefer to have a session 0 where we can all set our expectations in a discord call and do a general vibe check to see if things will work out. Either way, I'm excited to potentially meet new people and start having fun!
I'm up for being messaged here on DnDB or on Discord. My Discord username is chadventure.
Hey mate. I'm running a campaign at the moment going from lvl 1 - lvl 20. I'm down a player at the moment and everyone is at Lvl 2 at the moment. Feel free to message me for more info on the campaign if you're interested. Also the campaign comes with a lore web page so feel free to adapt any backstory you have for your cleric/sorcerer character build.
