Good morning, afternoon, evening, or night! Name's James and "Out of the Abyss" is the game. I'm a relatively new DM, hoping to make his big break with a campaign I've never seen or heard of, so it'll be an adventure for everyone involved. I'm looking for 1 "committed" players. And when I mean "committed," I mean it. Too many times have I played with people who just call out last minute or don't bother to send a message, and I find it rude. You have a good reason and I mean really good reason, I'll take it. Otherwise, three strikes and you're out. If you're interested, place a comment down below with a little info about yourself, send me a message through DNDBeyond, and after all that, contact me through Discord at James Corinth#0636 (All that because I get a lot of notifications from a lot of people and I don't which is which [so it helps]). Also, make a note, this campaign is hard and demands a good level of planning and strategy when it comes to what you have and what you can get in the world of the Underdark.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Start time will be: Sundays at 6:00 PM EST (Ending around 9:00 PM EST).
Things I love about D&D: Synergizing with other unique characters, balancing complex tactics with ludicrous and involved RP, and losing track of time because of how great a story is.
Things I'm not so hot on in D&D: A party that's not engaged, no real stakes, and homebrew that makes certain builds irrelevant
Would love to learn more about the campaign. Open to any and all race and class combos.
experience: moderate, i've played around 5 ish campaigns but they never breached level 10
things i enjoy about dnd: the versatility it holds is unrivaled. a campaign can range from a bright story filled with some of the funniest moments to friends, to dark emotional journeys that make you care far too much about fictional characters. or from campaigns that are action packed and filled with crazy monsters and unique combat experiences, to narrative and puzzle focused ones. all the while you can create practically any type of character you want.
preferred class/race: something i have yet to try, a unique experience. currently the idea thats earworming my brain is an artificer, archer, or rogue
