Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: TX, CST Availability: Felxible but prefer PM games Preferred role: Player Game style: Have played 2 different long running games and had a few characters for one shots so far. I tend to lean into the story telling, character building side of the game more. I do usually have a character voice to help differentiate me from the character, but mostly just casual.
Would rather a group be lively and trying to live in the world than murder hobo.
Hey there, I think I have a game that might pique your interest. I run a living world with 6 campaigns running simultaneously on the same timeline. Actions in one campaign can have far reaching implications across all the other campaigns and it makes for some very interesting gameplay. Also, I ask all of my players to help fill my world with new ideas and lore as we collectively build the world together through collaborative storytelling. My world is truly an open sandbox and many of the campaigns get involved in business, politics, guilds, etc. In fact, one campaign is building a fleet of airships as a merchant marine force. If you’re looking for a long running campaign, my world would seem a great fit. Also, we are building a server on Discord to facilitate multiple DMs running campaigns in the world as well as hosting one shots on a regular basis in the world as well. Here’s a link to our newest game with openings that will be played every Monday at 7:00 PM CDT:
If you're still interested in looking for a game I have a Monday evening game (7:00 PM EST) that's planned to be a long term adventure. I've DM'ed for this group for over 2.5 years and started this adventure with them over 7 sessions ago but we had a couple players drop due to life events but still a solid and committed group.
I'm also starting up a Beginner friendly game that needs at least 1 more player to start up. It's Wednesday evenings (8:30 PM) and it's meant to be a long term campaign using Lost Mine of Phandelver as the set up and beginning.
