Game style: Think open-world MMO, but in the form of D&D.

There's plenty of wilderness exploration & combat, but also opportunities for dungeons roleplay and social encounters with monsters & NPC's. Heavily player-driven in every way - players can post their own quests for others to take, and even put up items for sale in the community trading hall. XP leveling. Difficulty determined by where in the world you go and when - potentially unbalanced in or against your favor. A few homebrew rules and races, and a DM who is willing to bend rules, but on the whole, mostly by the book.
