We have games going on during North American, European, and Asian times. We're 4 months old and going strong!

The Bureau was designed by an experienced group of West Marches GMs to foster an excellent environment for hosting and playing. The economy is tuned to a medium power level so it won't escalate into stratospheric power levels, the rules reward cooperative gaming and creative role-play and campaign-style longform story-telling along with flexible unscheduled one-shots. (Scheduled ones too! lol)

We also have designed a unique, fun crafting system for 5e that allows you to express your creativity and cleverness in making unique items for your character or for others, as you find materials via adventuring or earn them through trade. It's been tough to make 5e crafting be both interesting and balanced and we're very proud of it! Come check it out.

GMs: host whatever world you fancy on this server. You can run sessions completely independently, or get involved and use Bureau lore and help contribute to the main storyline of the Bureau. You can even host in whatever gaming system you want, or host independent campaigns.

Players: Our friendly GMs will help you create a character in 5e, pathfinder 2e, and more - or help you learn to be a great GM if you're curious. Your characters have been recruited by the enigmatic Core of the Outer Bureau and will live in the lavish Castle Beyond the Void, going out via the TemPortal to help save the multiverse (or whatever adventure the GM has devised).

We have text/pbp roleplay channels as well!

is there any chance your bureau has any GM's or players that can run games like call of Cathulu or Star Wars or even world of darkness?

The crafting system sounds really cool! Could you give an example of what makes it more unique?

We do actually!  SW5e is very much based on the mechanics of D&D 5e, its just got new classes and races based on Star Wars lore.  Ton of fun and really easy for D&D 5e folks to pick up and have fun with :) 

Sure!  Players can find material components during sessions or by downtime hunting, then use those to make magic items -- basic stuff so far.  The unique & fun part is how people can be creative in crafting magic items that are unique to them, but still balanced.  You can craft items that are based on existing magic items, but have their physical form changed -- like instead of a helm of comprehending languages you could make a ring of comprehending languages, or instead of a shortsword of greed you could make a halberd of greed. 

You can also change the damage type of an item, like instead of a flametongue longsword you could make a lightning-tongue longsword, same stats as flametongue but lightning instead of fire.

You can even add magical quirks to items if you can find special shiny crafting components or get lucky during the crafting process.  

Peopleget very creative and clever with the crafting, it's really fun to watch!

This is one of the best servers I've ever been on. The people play well together. The stories are awesome. The D&D experience is very rich. I love it and I recommend it to anyone who wants to play 5E or PF.

hi! i recently been wanting to get into dnd so i don't know a lot of things. but ive seen a dnd session irl and it was so cool. i was wondering if i can still join the discord server even if im new and if theres an age restriction?

OH gosh I'm sorry I was in the hospital getting surgery & missed this.  Of course you can join as a new player.. there is an age restriction though, you must be at least 18. We don't get into explicit stuff on the server but there's definitely violence and sexual situations!  Adults only please :)

Ooh good questions!  We have sessions at all times, because we have GMs at all hours. Mainly the EU and US timezones but some outside of those too.  & themes are a lot of fantasy of course & steampunk/Eberron but also with cyberpunk & scifi.. Some folks do horror.  It's fun :)
