Looking for a game for a newbie

Game: D&D 5e
Experience: New
Location/Timezone: Florida, USA. 
Availability: Most night and weekends. 
Preferred role: Player

I have only "played D&D" once and it wasn't but maybe 2 sessions and I wasn't able to get deep into it. So I am a fresh newbie.

Is there anyone that wants to play but teach along the way. Most things were done for me when I was playing before so I didn't get a whole lot of learning out of it. I have been watching people play and understand small things. 

I would LOVE to get a game going. Please help a guy out.
