Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: I'd prefer face-to-face, but I wouldn't mind online Experience: New Location/Timezone: Wheaton, Illinois Availability: Most evenings, Weekends would also be open as well. Preferred role: Player (for now) Game style: I feel like my favorite style will be roleplay. While I'm learning, a more casual campaign/companions might be good as well.
I've been lurking around D&D for years but never got to a point of actively seeking to play. I have been playing Baldur's Gate 3, and have been loving it. With D&D mechanics, I got interested again. My hyperfixation got the better of me, and I pulled out my D&D books, began painting minifigures, and dove in to Critical Role's first campaign (Vox Machina).
I know it's an old post, but I'm just seeing it now. I'm in Downers Grove and I'm just getting into DND myself. I'm not ready to DM, but am looking for or to maybe start a good campaign. Let me if you're still interested.

Hi,
