Game: D&D 5e - Curse of Strahd Group type: Online - Primarily though Discord Experience: I've been DMing for the last 10 years or so. I have no problem helping new players. Location/Timezone: EST- I'm from Michigan Schedule: I would be looking to play Mondays or Tuesdays at around 8:00 PM EST. I could also do Sunday Mornings. Roles sought: 4-6 Players for the Strahd Campaign. Varying roles. Game style: I tend to play RAW (rules as written) when doing these pre-made modules. We'll be playing primarily over discord with Theatre of the mind. I don't intend on using roll20 this time around.
Please provide the following below if you're interested.

Which provided day / time will usually work for you (listed above):
I intend on starting this game next week. Potentially as early as 6/3/2018 if there is enough demand here. Once you've provided this information, I'll shoot you a PM with the discord channel link.
Character you'd like to play (name/ class / a short background):barka fighter. Barka's father was gruk a leader of a small orc camp his mother was sera a human who was a mage who was secretly teaching barka magic but he did not get very much training because his father killed his mother and now barka is looking for his father to kill him and take revenge.
Time Zone: mst
Experience: 3 weeks but i now a lot about the game
Which provided day / time will usually work tuesday any time past 4pm
Character you'd like to play (name/ class / a short background): Trinity - Rogue... She grew up on the streets learning to pick pockets and thieving everything she has needed. She has only been cough 1 and lost her left hand from it. She has a fake arm that she keeps covered and has vowed to never be cough again.
I would also be open to playing a paladin if needed.
Time Zone: -8 PST
Experience: 10 months. Playing with adult friends and with my family (husband and 3 kids)
Which provided day / time will usually work for you (listed above): Mondays would be best but Tuesdays and Sundays would also work.
Character you'd like to play (name/ class / a short background): Kurtok/Warlock/ Kurtok was a servant of the not so great wizard Frital. You see, Frital was obsessed with becoming immortal; but he was not exactly the smartest when it came to casting magic. In his frustration of all his failed experiments, Frital would always end up beating Kurtok and blame him for his own failures. One day, Kurtok overheard his "Master" muttering to himself about a summoning ritual that he was planning on using to contact one of 'The Great Old Ones', and decided that he was going to sabotage his spell by changing the wording in his spell book. That night when his "Master" went to sleep, Kurtok snuck into the library and found the spell book and proceeded to flick through it untill he found the summoning ritual that he heard his "Master" talking to himself about; and proceed to re-word the spell so that instead of summoning one of the Great Old Ones, he would instead summon a Fiend instead. The following day when Kurtok was doing his normal chores(Which consisted of cleaning the living quarters, kitchen, and the Laboratory all its equipment), Kurtok heard a loud bestial roar coming from the Library followed by his "Masters" Screams. After the commotion calmed down and the defining silence was all that could be heard, Kurtok, after his immediate fear and excitement died down; made his way toward the Library. When Kurtok reached the library door, he peeked through the keyhole to see what he could see, but only found darkness. Now normally this would be a problem, but being a Kobold had a few perks, and one of those perks was the ability to see in the dark! Seeing that he could not see any movement in the room, Kurtok opened the door and slowly walked inside. As he crept inside, he could see some sort of ritual circle in the middle of the floor as well as a very burnt beyond recognition body. Creeping even closer, Kurtok could not tell who the once living person was, had it not been for the signet on the right index finger of the now deceased person; one that he knew for a fact belonged to his now dead "Master"! Frital was Dead.
Time Zone: Central (CT)
Experience: Ive Been Playing Since 4e, So You Couls Say That Ive Got a Little Bit Of Exp With D&D.
Which provided day / time will usually work for you (listed above): I Work Monday-Friday, And Usually work till about 5:30-6:00PM. I Have Saturday And Sunday off, But I Have Adventure League On Saturdays At My Local Game Store.(Its A Pen & Paper Thing)
Character: Eradreyes, a wood elf cleric of Silvanus. Eradreyes's story began as an apprentice to the druid of their small woodland village, but quickly heard a different call from Silvanus. He was called upon to grow as a cleric by exploring the world outside of the village. He is slow to trust others and is young and brash. He cares more animals like his fox companion, Ari, than other humanoids. Being strapped for coin however in this new and dangerous world, he will try to find individuals to work with to advance his own agenda.
Time Zone: EST
Experience: I've been playing for a few years so I know most of the rules by now.
Which time works for me: These times all work for me. I wouldn't prefer Tuesday, but it is doable.
Character: Dragonborn samurai fighter. He's strict, clever and quick. But there's more than meets the eye, not surprising for somebody with his dreadful past.
He was born and grew up in a decent family in a merchant community, he lived out of trouble until he was about 4 years old, but at that point life changed.
He killed somebody by accident during a brutal war and was now part of a sinister clan. Together with a pet he had to survive in a bizarre world. But with his wits and fighting skills, he managed to go beyond expectations and find a new home. This has turned him into the man he is today.
Powerless to change the past, he now works as a mercenary for the king. By doing so, he hopes to shed the memories of the past and finally find purpose to life he has never had.
Character you'd like to play (name/ class / a short background):
Anela Stormrunner
Minotaur (Aasimar if you don't want anything from UA)
Fighter (Champion) / Druid (Circle of the Land - Desert)
Raised in a nomadic tribe and trained to be a Fighter, Anela never found she fit in or enjoyed her upbringing. As years passed she realized her true passion was in the wilderness around her. Shamed by her admissions her family shunned her and Anela left to live as a hermit among nature, learning the Druidic path. During her time living in the desert she became trapped out in an unusual storm, lightning striking down from the sky when a shape appeared. He saved Anela, introducing himself as the God Talos, and she dedicated herself to him, not knowing his true nature.
Time Zone: EDT/EST
Experience: 8 or so years on and off playing various editions of D&D, Pathfinder and Warhammer.
Which provided day / time will usually work for you (listed above): I think Monday would work best for me, but I can try and be flexible with the day.
(Before I start I’d like to say that I do realize you asked for 6 players and there have been 6 responses, I was thinking you’d be ok with a few more responses than needed so you have options. Thanks!)
Name: Matthew (or Matt I don’t really care)
Timezone: EST
Experience: I’ve played in two and a half campaigns so far, spanning about a year and a half, and since I was really interested in the game have done exstensive reading into DnD and the spells and monsters within it. Basically an average amount of experience.
I’m good to play on any of the days you suggested
Character: Skylan Voridrae; Bard (might multiclass into Cleric at some point)
Backstory: Skylan was always charming as a young boy, growing up under the watchful eye of his equally charming parents, an enchantress and a wealthy merchant. While he spent all the quality time a young boy should spend with his father, he always took more after his mother, constantly inquiring about the many magics she used to impress and enthrall her audiences. When he wasn’t pestering his parents about magic and trickery, he was mimicking his mother in the woods near their home town. There he would play his cherished flute for his many friends of the forest (whom he only later realized were fey beings, not imaginary friends as his parents told him!) and the occasional human friend as well. (how odd!) When the young boy finally became a young man, they happily helped him follow his dream, sending him off to the most prestigious magic school in the land. He absolutely hated it. And the one after that. And the one after that. And so on and so forth until his fed up family gave him one last chance; find something you enjoy doing, or come home and help your father run his business. Determined to not let the latter happen, Skylan wandered for a few months, traveling from village to village making some coin off his flute(and from some of that natural charm;). When a member of his audience asked him which bard’s college he attended(the man had been rather impressed by the performance) he realized just how foolish he had been in trying to become a mage. So, he traveled home, flute at his side, knapsack on his back, with one last request for his soon to be surprised parents.
Character: Open to role any Race/Class, but I am looking forward to play as a Kenku - Death Domain Cleric (Neutral Good). This character is still in development, so she doesn't have a name yet, but as far as her backstory goes: Tired of being bullied for her race and for being viewed as invisible or "not important", she sets herself on a path to become a powerful necromancer, to earn - or "take" - the respect of the ones around her, but deep inside she is afraid of what she might become and what will happen to the good hearth she likes to hide.
Time Zone: UTC/GMT -03:00
Experience: As a player I don't have much, I only played 2 characters up to this moment (in D&D anyway), one for 2 months and the other for 6. But as a GM, that's another story: I have run many sessions on my own Homebrew setting and also the Tomb of Annihilation Adventure Module for 2 groups. I also assembled a party to run Curse of Strahd, but due to time issues we never fully started it.
Availability: The best option for me is Monday night, and maybe Sunday morning.
Name is Bryce. Eastern TZ (North Carolina), I have about a year of experience under my belt.
I would simply adore to roll up a Paladin under the Oath of Vengeance. Basically wants to completely annihilate all that remains of Strahd throughout the entire land no matter the cirumcstannce. All those deemed evil and impure must be eliminated. He or she would likely be a Scourge Aasimar due to this theme. If I decide Male the name would be Titus Celestia, and Titania Celestia for a female. It’d probably be a male though. A more proper backstory will be developed as I learn more about the world if I ever get briefed properly. A backstory may also depend on the rest of the team should anyone wish to make connections.
My schedule isn’t really consistent, though I’m usually available Monday or Tuesday, if not both.
Thank you all. I am surprised by the volume of responses I received regarding this (a TON OF PM's). If I didn't reply directly to you, I apologize. Hopefully we will get to play together in the future.
