Would massively recommend this guy as a DM by the way. Have been playing in one of his campaigns for nearly two years now. Been a long time and a lot of laughs. And if it wasn't for him choosing to run these games while I'm at work (what a bastard) I'd have definitely joined these ones too if I was able. Genuinely the most fun campaign around and a massive sense of community with the group. Would not trade it for the world!
Also, I want to address some slanderous accusations in the "reviews" from my fellow campaign players!
- Yes I did spend an entire combat riding a dragon while a party member died. I misty stepped onto the dragon thinking I could hit it better....I could not. All my attacks rolls failed, but dex saves to stay stood on it succeeded. It was an...interesting situation to be in. Also the player who "died" killed me with a fireball a few sessions after...so...yeah.
- If I wasn't meant to try and befriend things then why are they there. And technically Crocus (Direwolf) is from this plane of existence, he just got into a warlock pact with my patron and it means I can summon him to help me for 2 hours a day and he has cool lightning powers.
- And yes my character only says the word "Gobbu" like a pokemon, but they all understand me! Like, they literally know what I'm saying when all I say is "Gobbu", so honestly, who's truly the weird one here!?
Anyway, honestly give this guy a chance. Sessions are always fun with many twists and turns, and he really cares about the characters and integrating them into the world.
New Games open up and longer running onces have some room! Join up, whether it is up in the frozen wastelands or in preperation to fight a Dragon!
