We are a group of DND 5e Australian players who are looking for one more to join our homebrew game. We are currently only two session in and are looking for someone with a consist schedule. We are looking for someone who isn't a passive player, you don't necessary have to be very talkative however we do want someone that is involved in NPC conversations and is not just there to watch or purely there for combat.

We do try to have at least one combat encounter per session but this isn't always the case. There will be sessions that will have more combat than others but if you're looking for a hack and slash this isn't the game for you.

Game Style:  Serious, Role-playing, Social intrigue & NPC interaction.

Group type: Online (roll 20, while using discord for voice)

Starting level: 3

Experience: New / semi-experienced

Age range: 16-23

Timezone: Preferably would like an Australian, We usually start playing at 6pm ACST give or take an hour

Availability: We play Saturday or Sunday(Australian) depending on the player's schedule

I was actually looking for a group in your rough time zone, oddly enough, but I'm not sure I'm a match for you.

I work nights in California, so my sleep schedule puts me in bed at roughly 6-8 am my time (Pacific Time), which it looks like would equate to 12:30 am to 2:30 am your time.  Playing at 6 pm your time would be starting at 1:30 am my time,  well within my waking hours.

However, you stated your age range to be somewhere around 17-23 to my understanding, and I more than double the high end of that at 47, so I may be too old for your group.  On the other hand, I am both new and experienced, as I have played D&D before, but not 5th edition.  Admittedly, it's been 18 years, and the last time I played I was the DM, not a player, but it looks like, aside from some mechanics, the basic rules haven't changed significantly.  I like playing rogues and clerics.

Do you play both Saturday and Sunday, or were you simply indicating that either day works?  Do you start at 6 or 7 and go awhile, or do you play for a couple of hours on both nights?

Don't be shy if you think my age puts me out of range.  It won't hurt my feelings a bit.  I'm just toe dipping to see what's out there.

Hi eideann, I'll talk to the other players are about it and get back to you. I've edited my post to better explain the dates and time but in summary we usually start at 6 but sometimes 7. As for days we play either Sunday or Saturday depending on the player's schedule.

I am in the US but the times would work out really well for me since that is I believe around 4 am here. I also fall outside the age bracket by a bit at 30 years of age.
