Welcome to Mythenheim Games!
I’m DM_AC, a professional Game Master with experience in DnD5e, Dungeon World, and to a lesser extent in Call of Cthulhu, Death in Space, and Pathfinder 2E. I’ve been running games in the last 6 years, both online and in person. TTRPGs are my favorite type of entertainment because of the freedom and creative opportunities they offer.
I’m currently looking for additional people to join our community! The first group is full and running successfully, and now it is time for a second group of adventurers!
Communication is key to success, and that is why our session 0 is critical in determining expectations, wishes, goals, and so forth. With player input, I can start assembling adventures specifically tailored to you. :)
Why Mythenheim Games?
We have a small, but strong community in Discord, where we plan our sessions, participate in roleplaying chat, and have fun, off-topic discussions. The plan is also to have both groups support each other, so that if there is an opening on one of the sessions, another player can take over if they wish! :)

Should you choose to play with us, you will find a rules-flexible environment with emphasis on story and characters. I find player input highly important, and in my experience players enjoy contributing to the world-building as well. Sometimes we even do this during the adventure itself!
A few examples:
“John, you turn the corner, crossbow in hand, and find a horrible monster staring at you at the end of the corridor… What does this monster look like?”
“Helen, the innkeeper agrees to give you the key, but first he asks for a favor. What favor is this?”
This is a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to let creativity flow. As a GM, I ensure that everything remains coherent and fair. I’ve been getting great feedback using this approach, and will continue doing so.
Mythenheim Games offers other opportunities and mechanics that enhance the game through active player input. This is just one of them. :) Additionally, I strive to tackle the 3 pillars of TTRPGs each session: combat, exploration, and social interactions. A good rotation of those keeps the adventures fresh!
Schedule
Our Sunday slot is full, but we're currently looking for more players for a Wednesday game at 18:00 GMT + 1, for a weekly game. Each session lasts from 3 to 4 hours.

We will be running the game on Roll20, using Discord for voice chat and to coordinate sessions. DnDBeyond will come into play for additional character options and items in regards to DnD5e.
Payment

Session 0 is free of charge, and it is perhaps the most important session of all. It will be here that we will meet and discuss what to expect for our campaign. I will bring some ideas and suggestions and hear your own, so that the adventures may be tailored according to what you wish to experience. If you are open to most things and would rather take a back seat approach, then I have you covered too, as I have all sorts of ideas overflowing from my brain!
Payment ensures quality service, and that we are all on the same page when it comes to having a great, solid gaming experience. Oh, it also allows me to get rid of those pesky bills doing something I love! Still, I strive to have a casual atmosphere where we can always ask questions and communicate our thoughts and ideas. Communication is vital!
About me
I’m in my early 30s, reside in northern Europe, and love cats. :) I’ve been immersed in fantasy videogames, books, movies, boardgames, and TTRPGs basically my entire life. The games I run typically take inspiration from Warcraft, Elder Scrolls, Lord of the Rings, Baldur’s Gate, and other similar works.

A new group has opened up!
Sunday group is full, but a new opportunity for a Wednesday game is coming up in the next weeks. If you want to work together with your fellow adventurers, while engaging with the world, defeating monsters, and finding loot, then you are at the right place!
Wednesday Opening
Looking for 5 players to join the paid Wednesday game. Each session lasts 3-4 hours, and we will start at 18:00 or 19:00 GMT + 1.
Planning for weekly sessions, but bi-weekly may also be an option.
To be decided in session 0 if we will run a module in Mythenheim, or if we will continue our approach of linked one-shots in a homebrew campaign with player input. :)
