Overlooked (p.s. that the name of the campaign)

This world isn't completely like our own. When the Industrial Revolution sparked dwarven engineers introduced steam-powered automatons, when the civil rights movement sparked Martin Luther King Jr fought not just for all people of color but for all mythical races, and when good'ol 2023 started it was a good year for mythical inclusivity in the workplace. Our story takes place in a fantastic version of our modern world.

Ah, California, The Golden State. A lush beach filled with beautiful women, cities of towers, and a place where stars come to shine. You play as either a local Angeleno or a fresh-faced foreigner coming from another state or country. Whether you're trying to survive another month with high rent, becoming the next big star, or just enjoying the sunny beaches. Rising tensions between Fae people and "normal" people, escalating violence, and overall bad juju going on. How will it all go down?

I've been dming for about five years, but this would be my first time doing something more modern. Though it will still have fantastical elements you won't be dungeon delving or dragon fighting in this campaign. If anything it's a lot more narrative-focused. 

We'll play every Saturday, 7 pm MST (Arizona time don't add daylight savings), you'll start at level 3.
