About the Adventure.

The Humblewood is a place out of a storybook, where talking animals have lived in peace since a dramatic event called Moonfall, 15 years ago. That was when two usurpers were found out, and destroyed by the great Gods of Life and Death, Ardea-Ra and her mysterious partner, Yeenoghu. Now, even with the calm that has settled over the land, not everything is perfect. Tension between the Birdfolk and Humblefolk is simmering just beneath the surface, and there's a whisper of darkness growing in hidden corners.
But hope shines in unexpected places. A group of heroes that nobody could have predicted is about to come together in the quiet village of Meadowfen. Here, in a place most might overlook, they'll start an adventure that could change Humblewood forever.

About the DM.

Richard (he/him) has been a DM/GM for various titles for over 30 years, and has honed his craft and skill over the years. His playstyle is, in his words; "light, and player-facing. I'm a fan of the characters, and my instinct is to say Yes, And? rather than No, You Can't." As well as being a player of various TTRPG titles for just over 35 years, he understands the players' wants and needs, and is fully willing to accommodate both new, and advanced players. He aims to provide a fair and safe space for all people, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, etc., and also prioritises having a laugh and a good time, instead of being strict and a 'cruel DM' similar to old-school DMs.

Additional Information.

• $20/3+ hour game session @ 2PM CST (Thursdays).
• You will need: Discord, Roll20 (free account), a webcam and a microphone.
• Organic leveling, instead of XP-based.
• The first session will be a mixture of a Session Zero, and having the characters getting into a bit of trouble before we officially start.
