Twitch & Youtube livestream show looking for a new castmember! <3

Hi everyone!

The Gilded Flask is soon launching a new adventure live on Twitch, Youtube and various podcasts!

After an amazing first season where we played through the Curse of Strahd, we are now moving to a new story full of awesome content.
Unfortunately, one of our cast members had to step down, which means we have room for a new hero to join us!

We are currently in the preparatory phase of the new campaign, and we will of course take you along with everything. You will become part of an enthusiastic team of roleplayers who really enjoy sharing a story with the world! Just as with last season, we are keeping the team small, so everyone has enough time to shine and develop a character.

You do not have to be a streamer or content creator, though if you are, that is fine!
Other than that, we have a few pointers for what our ideal hero would have:

• You can roleplay! We will balance fight scenes with exploration and RP, and are looking for someone who can be their character! (creativity is a big plus!)
• Your timezone / availability vibes with ours. Our stream / recording time is 5.30pm EST - 9.30pm EST on fridays (but we can discuss!) Reliability is key!
• Your mastery of the english language is proficient enough to roleplay!
• Being part of a group of peers. We all have an equal share of everything that makes us a team! This means we'd love for you to have additional skills to bring to the table. We create our own intro's, manage our own channels etc. If you have creative skills beyond roleplaying that is a plus!
• Webcam and good microphone are a necessity. We'll be either using green screens or nVidia Broadcast's background removal to make our portraits look synced. We’d love for you to have the same.
• We'll be using D&D Beyond, and FoundryVTT.
• 18+ is required

is the new campaign a homebrew setting or already set up one?

Good questions!

- Just one cast member, yes. We want to keep the team small; there'll be three players total.

- The new campaign will most probably be a non-official, but relatively well-known campaign, and by my estimate it will run for a year, if not more. It's a lengthy story! :)

It's been a lot of fun streaming with TGF since I joined a couple months ago ... looking forward to meeting our new cast member!

I have a question about the bit you wrote regarding webcam backgrounds. I'm not super tech savvy but have white walls so would that be acceptable for a "portrait background" or am I misunderstanding your writing?

Hey Dark! A White wall behind you could work, as we might be able to filter it out. We can always try, so feel free to apply! :D
